Monkey D. Luffy's Gear 5 is the result of awakening Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika, and is easily one of the best power-ups we've ever seen. One piece. While the Gear 5 is the ultimate force when it comes to idle combat, there are some unique upgrades that exist in the world One piece that can compete with it. In fact, some of the abilities that Eiichiro Oda has written into his story are so incredible that they could probably even surpass Gear 5.

Five elders they are loyal followers of Im and perhaps the most powerful in the world government after the king himself. The five elders have contracts with the King of the World, making them extremely powerful. In their case, they have the Abyssal Pact with Imu, which gives them access to infinite regeneration, immortality, superhuman strength, and to top it all off, Yokai transformation.
Every elder has something unique Yokai transformation that Oda had already shown in the Egghead One Piece Arc. This Yokai transformation, when combined with the extremely powerful Haki they possess, is powerful enough to match even Luffy's Gear 5, as was evident in the Egghead Arc. Going all out, Five Elders can easily rival Gear 5 and some might even overpower it.

Despite having a Paramecia Devil Fruit named Soru Soru no Mi, Big Mom has its own unique enhancements that undergo various transformations and her Soul Consumption form is definitely one of them. By consuming a portion of her own life, Big Mom can increase in size and look even more menacing than ever, making her stronger. The more life it consumes, the stronger it becomes. Of course, the use of this power comes at a high cost, but it gives her a tremendous power that can hardly be rivaled by anyone in the world.
This power was such that Big Mom was even able to handle Law and Kid at the same time. Even though she lost this battle, it was only because she was knocked off the island and had enough bombs to destroy the entire country that fell on her.

Kaido she was the first character in all of One Piece to fight against Luffy's Gear 5. While his regular hybrid form was constantly outmatched by Gear 5, Kaido's strongest form was definitely a match for it. Kaido released the power Flaming Drum Dragon at the very end of the arc where he covered his body in a magma-like fire so hot that he could basically melt entire islands just by running over them.
If Kaido made direct contact with Luffy in this form, he would surely die. With his ability to deal devastating damage without touching opponents, Luffy was able to bypass Kaido's strongest attack abilities, but it goes without saying that Kaido was more than just a match for Luffy's Gear 5 with this power-up.

Form: Forced contract with Imu
Rocks D. Xebec is one of the most iconic characters that Oda finally shed some light on in the Elbaph arc during Loki's flashback. Rocks was immensely powerful in his own right, as evidenced by the fact that 56 years ago he was able to effortlessly kill an admiral, and even matched the legendary King Harald in strength and power.
Rocks underwent an incredibly powerful transformation at the hands of Imu 38 years ago in the God Valley where he fell. His power play went through Domi Reversiand it gave him immense power at the cost of a portion of his life, making him immortal and giving him infinite regeneration, but stripped him of all reasoning and logic. Rocks became a mindless monster controlled by Imu as he pleased.
His strength was so great that even the likes of Roger and Garp couldn't take him down individually. The two had to join forces to finally put an end to his rampage, making him an incredibly dangerous power-up. Even with Gear 5, Luffy wouldn't be able to stop Rocks D. Xebec's rampage.

Form: Contract with Imu
Imu has a unique ability to strengthen not only himself, but also his subordinates, or in some cases even his enemies. One of the most dangerous upgrades it can provide comes via the Covenant. Imu's most powerful covenant is the Abyssal Covenant, which is granted to the Five Elders but Pact of the Deep is also dangerous. Imu marked this Covenant on King Harald 14 years ago and it turned him into a weapon of mass destruction. This Covenant granted Harald immortality, regeneration, and in addition superhuman strength that, when infused with what he already possessed, made him virtually invincible.
Harald's power reached such a level that it was believed that if he left Elbaph, he would destroy the entire world. Harald was by far the strongest puppet Ima ever had in the show. His power was such that even Shanks and Gaban combined couldn't stop him, and only Loki's stunning Nidhoggr ability, which acts as a tough counter to Imu's powers, stopped him in his tracks.

Loki is the Cursed Prince of Elbaf and one of the strongest characters in the whole One piece. He ate the Nidhoggr Devil Fruit 14 years ago, making him a force to be reckoned with. Loki's powers are such that it is said that he can destroy the entire world with them. Even King Harald, who was a monster in his own right, was not strong enough to sustain a fight against people like Loki.
While his Nidhoggra's transformation is certainly powerful, Loki has an even greater power that allows him to enter his hybrid form and grow even stronger. This form was briefly teased in silhouette during his fight against Harald, but regardless, it's one of the greatest abilities seen in One Piece.

If there is one power-up as a whole One piece which overshadows even Luffy's Gear 5 transformation, is Imu's Devil's Fruit. First released in chapter 1179 of the story, Im demonstrated the power of his Devil Fruit, the so-called Akuma no Mithe very first time. This devil fruit allows him to transform into a devil himself, meaning he falls under the Zoan class and gives him a unique transformation.
Imu was seen approaching hybrid form immediately after arriving in Elbaf and transforming into something that was similar to the devil of the world. This devil was so strong that no one could stand in Ima's way in battle. Imu could also transform into a full Devil version, but the actual character design for this form remains unseen as of now.
It was briefly teased during Sabo's confrontation with the Five Elders and Nero Ima in the throne room of Castle Pangea in the Holy Land of Marijoa. Imu is in a completely different league right now and far more powerful than Sun God Nika, which makes this power-up even more dangerous.
