Orange thought bubble
When your Mii has business friendship on their minds, they'll let you know with an orange bubble in Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream. You can expect something to do with relationships on the island, whether it's meeting a new Mii or building their groups. You can see your Miis:

I want to make a new friend, usually with a specific other Mii on the island. They'll either want to find a new friend themselves, or they'll play friendship matchmaker and introduce two Mias who don't currently know each other.

Request to move in with another Mia and put the couple in a shared house with individual bedrooms on the top floor that reflect the bedroom style of their individual homes. You'll see it either as a blossoming of platonic or romantic relationships, but orange bubble requests in Tomodachi Life will always be friendship moves.

You play one of the few mini-games and defeat the Mii in question to get a prize. You can sell these prizes for generous amounts of cash to help fund other things on your island.
