Zenless Zone Zero reveals Roscaelifer characters for season 3

Zenless Zone Zero has revealed the cast of its upcoming Season 3, consisting of ten new characters. The action RPG is getting ready to wrap up its 2nd season with the release Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.8, which is scheduled to launch on May 6. To set the stage for its next era, the gacha title has shared a new teaser featuring the next major explorable area, Roscaelifer.

As confirmed by HoYovere, it comes with a ton of content Zenless Zone Zeroupdate 2.8. The patch launches two new S-Rank agents, Promeia and Starlight – Billy. The characters will also play a key role in Chapter 2.8 of the main story, focused on revealing Remielle's plans. It has been heavily implied that Remielle is connected to Sunbringer, a character related to the lore and Void Hunter. Now, Zenless Zone Zero has officially shared a closer look at Sunbringer and several upcoming characters.

Zenless Zone ZeroThe latest trailer titled “Before the Wind Rises” introduced ten new characters that will play in the Season 3 story. Among them are some characters that have previously appeared in the game, such as Remielle, Velina, Norma, and Seth Lowell's brother, Severian. Other new faces include Claret, Roxy, Sigrid, Phoenix, The Storyteller and the mysterious Sunbringer. With Season 3, players can expect the addition of new ones Zenless Zone Zero factions with different missions. Additionally, Remielle, Severian, Sigrid, and Sunbringer all seem to be thirteen, but it remains to be seen which other characters have animal traits.

Although not officially announced by HoYovere, the featured characters will likely join the playable roster during Season 3, as happened with the units shown in the first Season 2 teaser. The season 3 trailer also focuses on Roscaelifer, also known as the Celestial Nexus, an area where humans and Bangboo coexist. Little is known about Roscaelifer, but it has been confirmed that the area was founded and is under Sunbringer rule. Finally, the game's heroes are seen wearing new clothes and seem to be being investigated. This is worth noting Zenless Zone Zero's Belle and Wise receive their first combat playable forms in version 3.0 with the launch of Pyrois, an Ether-Attack unit.

Both Velina and Norma have already been released for version 3.0. Velina is a Wind-Anomaly unit while Norma is a Fire-Stun character. They are part of the Outer Strategy Department, the first confirmed faction to originate from Roscaelifer. It will still take a few weeks for players to gravitate towards them Zenless Zone Zerolimited banners. Meanwhile, fans can currently get S-Rank Agent Cissia before her debut banner ends on May 5th.
