Darksiders premiered in 2010 on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360, after a remaster Darksiders: Warmastered Edition first launched in 2016. The most recent port of this version was on the Switch in 2019, so it's been a while and the newer console deserves one of the most underrated action-adventure games of all time that appeals to Zelda fans.

Set during the apocalypse, players take on the role of one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse, War. On Earth, he will battle both angels and demons as he tries to understand what is about to trigger the apocalypse. Players can get upgrades and gadgets in dungeons to help them navigate, including a Portal-as a device, along with a giant sword to slash enemies. Gallipoli is a World War 1 game set during the Battle of Gallipoli in 1915. This historical battle took place as the Allies attempted to fight the Ottoman Empire and regain ground. The developer, BlackMill Games, has been quietly creating some of the best WW1 multiplayer games ever since 2015 Verdun.

Tannenberg and Isonzo followed by a Gallipoli there will be another edition. Players can expect the game to feature the same action as the previous three titles, including a period-appropriate first-person shooter involving pistols, rifles, and grenades. Starbites it's developed by the relatively obscure IKINAGAMES, but published by NIS America, and they know a thing or two about niche RPGs. The game looks like a cross between Wild weapons series that takes place on a dusty desert planet, a Xenogearsbecause the characters have moss.

Some of the characters also actually have futuristic wheels and use weapons during combat, but overall it's a fast-forward JRPG. Combat is turn-based, players can attack or use skills normally, and there are some customization options for mechs outside of battle. Starbites launches on the 21st on PS5 and a few other systems, so anyone who's been dying for another good mech game won't have to wait long.

Lego Batman: Legacy Of The Dark Knight (May 22)

Back and bolder than ever

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is an upcoming open-world game set in Gotham that looks to be the biggest Batman game ever. Players can punch enemies, use gadgets, slide around Gotham, and even drive different vehicles like the Batmobile and a standalone motorcycle.

Based on the footage shown so far, the game will take into account media from all areas of Batman's life, including film versions such as The Dark Knightbut it won't be a direct adaptation like a lot of LEGO games, incl Star Wars ones.
