With the month of May officially upon us, that means it's time for another batch of anticipated titles. Chief among them is 007 First Light, a brand new James Bond experience from IO Interactive that revisits the old Bond titles with some new flair.
007 First Light is set for release on May 27th, and we've dropped a ton of info and tidbits ahead of its release, including the title track performed by none other than Lana Del Rey. Not only did Del Rey lend her vocal chops to the song, but IO Interactive kept the Bond tradition alive with a unique title sequence.
However, what we haven't learned is how long 007 First Light will be, but as Insider Gaming first spotted, we now have as good an idea as we'll be before release.

007: First Light could usher in a new era for licensed video games
After a few hours of IO Interactive's engaging Bond, I'm ready for more.
007 First Light promises to be a meaty experience
In a new video from YouTuber JorRaptor, based on interviews with members of the development team, 007 First Light lasts around 20 hours, give or take.
Of course, depending on your playing style, this number can go up or down. A speed runner or someone playing on a lower difficulty can manage it for 15 hours, while a hard run can take even longer. That's not to mention the game's list of trophies and achievements, which could have its own requirements.
On paper, that number is pretty long, and it stands out even more when you compare 007 First Light to other action games.
For example, the longest Uncharted game is 15 hours (Uncharted 4) and the shortest is The Lost Legacy at seven hours. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, on HowLongToBeat, averages about 16 hours of main campaign time, while the recent Tomb Raider trilogy never exceeded 13 1/2 hours.
Even among the new releases, 007 First Light should stand out, as Pragmata is roughly an 11-hour game, while Resident Evil Requiem is roughly the same amount of time, but like Bond, it can increase for different playstyles.
Game length isn't everything, of course, and there are certainly titles that overstay their welcome and short games that are a revelation. But with how much games cost these days, it's nice to know that 007 First Light will have some meat.
