The Yakuza games have come a long way since the series' inception and have adapted to its ever-growing fan base. For example, back in Yakuza 0 all the characters spoke Japanese and you would have to use subtitles to find out what was going on, but these days games are much more accommodating to the growing western audience.
Games like Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth came with full English dubs, and while they can sometimes be questionable at best (hello YongYea), the actors they get can be decent (hello Matt Mercer). This will likely be the way Ryu Ga Gotoku Studios does things in the future with Yakuza, but for Stranger Than Heaven it seems a different approach has been taken.
Stranger Than Heaven Won't Have An English Dub
First spotted by a Reddit user named Animegamingnerd and shared on the Yakuza subreddit, it appears as if the store info for Stranger Than Heaven claims that the audio for the game's supported languages is fixed, meaning you won't have the choice between a purely Japanese-speaking cast or a full English dub.

Stranger Than Heaven is Yakuza meets The Greatest Showman and I'm so ready for it to come alive
The recent Xbox Presents gave us a promising new look at Stranger Than Heaven.
Since there were actually a lot of people speaking English in the game's trailer, this seems to indicate that Stranger Than Heaven will actually be multilingual, and that the characters in the game will be speaking in their native languages and have subtitles so you know what they're saying. It's a pretty neat change that should help breathe more life into the cities you can explore.
As for when Stranger Than Heaven will launch, a large gameplay trailer shared by Xbox last night revealed that the game will be released sometime this winter, which means it's actually not too far off.
