UFC 6 head, body, or leg stun icons
If you lose a significant amount of maximum health in an organ, it is more likely to stun. After triggering the stun, a white glow will appear on your side of the screen and your character will lose stability, move more slowly, and take your inputs with a delay.
Mostly, the stun can cause your character to fall to the ground. The stun creates a huge opportunity for an overpowered opponent to strike more aggressively and land follow-up shots with a high success rate.
It is usually recommended to go for a takedown after your opponent is stunned. You have to make a quick decision as the window to use the stun is quite short. If you're a stunned fighter, try to move away from your opponent and pick yourself up until you've regained enough health on the stunned organ.
Stunning the head is preferable to targeting other organs, as targeting the head can also force your opponent to stop the doctor, another win condition in competitive mode UFC 6.
Ultimate stamina reduction icon in UFC 6
A heart icon with a down arrow appears after a choke attempt. It is not a guaranteed result, but if the choke attempt is done correctly, it will cause a permanent effect on the target's stamina and reduce their maximum stamina level. Keep in mind that even a failed or incomplete choke attempt has a chance to leave a lasting effect.
If you try to master the submission, this icon should be something you want to use on your opponents. Reducing a fighter's maximum stamina is quite a disadvantage. Some of the critical moves UFC 6 require stamina advantage over the target.
Arm health icon in UFC 6
Similar to the Maximum Stamina Reduction icon, arm health is also a result of dispatch. If you do an arm serve, you can cause structural damage to your opponent's armwhich is indicated by the Arm Health icon. Targeting this hand in your next posts will be a smart use that will benefit you.
As with Max Stamina Reduction, even a defended submission can leave an Arm Health icon on the target, and that still makes this move quite valuable.
Doctor stop icon in UFC 6
If a fighter takes significant facial damage, a Doctor Stoppage icon will appear next to the head's health bar. A cut is the most common type of injury that causes bleeding, resulting in the Doctor Stoppage icon. Swelling and other serious head injuries also count towards a doctor's stop.
The icon will initially appear yellow, a warning indicator for a fighter with this injury. If they get multiple clear shots to the same area of the head, the Doctor Stoppage icon will turn red. Any successful shots after that into the same area could trigger Doctor Stoppage. This means that the doctor can stop the fight to check the condition of the injured fighter. If they decide the condition is critical, the fight ends and the other fighter wins immediately.
Doctor Stoppage only occurs if activated in the settings menu. Doctor Stoppage will be disabled by default when playing with the Knockout fight preset, meaning you will never get this icon.
Breathing penalty icon in UFC 6
As the fight continues into the late rounds, fighters lose more maximum stamina, making it harder to recover from mistakes. Stamina management becomes a key strategy in the final rounds, and a silent injury can disrupt it significantly.
Breathing penalty slows stamina regeneration. This means that if you take no action, your stamina bar will refill more slowly. This is a significant disadvantage as you will lose momentum when hitting. The breath penalty will limit your options and prevent you from landing back to back. It will also be even harder to fight on the ground.
Injury to the face around the combatant's nose or mouth triggers a breath penalty. Depending on how severe the injury is, it may last for several rounds or wear off after a single round.
If you are affected by a breath penalty, use a defensive style until you recover from the injury. It is strongly recommended to avoid performing combos, removal or sending. Keep your distance from your opponent and try to shoot single attacks.
Penalty icon for seeing in UFC 6
If you have impaired vision, it is harder to follow your opponent's movements. When you deal damage to a fighter's eye, they have a chance to generate Vision Penalties. Similar to Doctor Stoppage, Vision Penalty also comes with two levels of yellow and red.
When the icon appears, Incoming strikes from the injured eye will deal more damage than usual. It doesn't hinder the affected player's defense as they can still successfully block incoming shots, but if any hits get through it will be a heavy hit.
The red level of the Vision Penalty is even more severe. If you ever see this icon on your fighter, it's best to keep your distance and stay in a defensive position until the damage wears off. Resting between rounds will help you recover from the vision penalty.
Overall, the head is the most critical organ to target UFC 6. If you manage to land successful kicks, punches or elbow attacks on the opponent's head, you will be able to apply various debuffs.
