How to clean up corruption in Saros
While exploring one of the Eclipsed parts of Carcosa, you'll notice that the enemies will not only be aggressive, but will start shooting Arjun with yellow projectiles. These are corruption projectiles that will slowly accumulate and reduce Arjuna's maximum health bar. This will further increase the more you get hit by these pesky projectiles.
There are a several ways you can gradually eliminate corruption from Arjuna's health bar Saros.
'Power Weapons' Eliminate corruption
Power weapons are Arjuna's ultimate ability, allowing him to deal heavy damage or powerful status effects to enemies, as well as remove accumulated corruption. Once you use a power weapon by pressing L2 (full) + R2you use your power meter to damage enemies. Each Power Weapon shot removes a small piece of corruption Saros it was taking up Arjuna's maximum health bar.
You can quickly charge your energy weapons easily blocking blue projectiles through Shield and absorbing them. Similar can also be done with yellow (corruption) projectiles, after unlocking the shield booster ability from the Armor Matrix.
'Parry' Nova Particles to clean up corruption
Parry is another ability that you unlock naturally through exploration fourth biome: Blighted Marsh in Saros. Parry lets you deal with those pesky Nova projectiles (red) that can't be pierced or blocked by a shield. Parrying Nova Particles it not only deals stunning damage to enemies but also removes some of the corruption from Arjun.
Corruption is not only a danger Sarosbut it can also be turned around and make Arjun the greatest power. Players will gradually begin to see damaged weapons drop in later biomes, increasing their damage based on how much corruption you have created. If you've mastered dodging enemy attacks, this mechanic allows you to adapt to a “glass cannon” playstyle that is both higher risk and reward.
