Pocketpair developer filed a new Palworld associated trademark, suggesting that the developers are planning to start focusing more on multiplayer, or that they could have a second game on the way. From launch in 2024 Palworld it has multiplayer features that allow servers with up to 32 other players. Over the past two years, the developers have been fine-tuning these options, working to make the servers more stable while adding more features to the game.
Palworld Server issues were a key issue at launch, mostly due to demand being greater than expected. The game also had a few bugs that frustrated players, but Pocketpair managed to maintain a passionate audience. Palworld A large number of concurrent players are still seen on Steam, in addition to PS5 and Xbox players.
Pocketpair's new Palworld trademark
Gamers have revealed a new trademark filed by Pocketpair for “Palworld Online.” Trademark filings from video game companies often hint at future plans, with offers teasing ahead of an official announcement. The trademark started speculation that Pocketpair would release a new one Palworld MMO, or that there might be a change in the name of the current game. It's not unheard of for developers to slightly change the name of an existing game, usually to reflect some major update. PalworldThe 1.0 update brings big changes, so it looks like a real possibility.

A trademark for Palworld Online has been filed in both the United States and South Korea. Krafton is working on a Palworld mobile game and it is worth noting that the company is based in South Korea. With that in mind, it's entirely possible that Palworld Online will be the official name for the mobile game. This is just speculation until something is confirmed, but it's been a while since Krafton has provided any sort of update. If it is the same game, it could indicate that more information will be revealed soon.
Of all the possible explanations for this trademark, a Palworld An MMO spin-off seems the least likely. Pocketpair is a fairly small developer and the team seems to be focused on improving the current game. Palworld it's still in early access, though that will change sometime in 2026. Unless a developer partners with another company (like they did with Krafton), it's hard to imagine them supporting a second game. If that turns out to be the case, Pocketpair will need to make sure it doesn't repeat the same server issues that were prevalent in Palworldearly days.

Until Pocketpair reveals the reason for the new trademark, Palworld fans will have to speculate about what the future holds. Either way, we have a lot to look forward to in the coming months, between the 1.0 update, the mobile game, and Palworld TCG. Despite the current lawsuit from Nintendo and The Pokemon Company, it doesn't appear that Pocketpair has any plans to slow down or move away from Palworld.
