If you watched along with Crimson Desert's long list of updates, then you may have noticed that Pearl Abyss adds a lot of mounts to tame in Pywel. New parts like the Raptor stand out as one of the best mounting options in the game. However, these rare creatures aren't found in many areas, so you'll have to know where to look.
We'll show you where to find a raptor in the Crimson Desert and how to tame your new friend so you can summon him as a special mount whenever you want.
Before you go Raptor hunting, be sure to bring some meat to feed your new friend, especially Marbled Meat, as it offers a great Trust bonus.
Marble meat can be found in every butcher shop in Pywel.
Where to find the Raptor
To find the Raptor mount in the Crimson Desert, head to the Crimson Desert in the game and go southeast of Tashkalp, where you can find Crimson Mountain Fortress.
This fortress is blocked and controlled by the Twilight Messengers faction. Although mostly a nuisance, the guards went out on patrol for some of the wild animals in the area.

How to tame a predator
When you arrive at Crimson Mountain Fortress near Tashkalp you will find a selection guards riding on the backs of Raptors.
When you find a guard on a raptor, use your bow and arrow on it knock the guard off the raptor's back.
This frees up the Raptor to mount and tame, but also sends it on the run, forcing you to chase after it.
Using an Explosive arrow will help ensure that the guard is thrown from the Raptor's back.
Once you catch up with the Raptor, you'll need to get far enough away from the guards to safely focus on taming your new friend.
Open yours Inventory menu a scroll down to your Marbled Meat.
Hold A/X for select Marbled Meat and scroll down to Ability to “feed” while riding the Raptor give it some meat.
Once you raise the Raptor's trust to 100, an option to register a Red-Feathered Raptor will appear as a special holder.
Now you can always open your inventory and go to yours Special grips card and summon a red-feathered raptor.
