NTE: The Complete Fishing Guide
Fishing is one of the most enjoyable activities in Neverness to Everness. Here's everything you need to know about this hobby.
How to get started in Reflection Quest
You can start the quest at Bridge Crossings near the fountain area at Hankaku Street. Two NPCs, called Excited Girl and Exasperated Girl, discuss rumors of a magical mirror that supposedly shows the future. Listen to their conversation to officially start the side quest.
This quest is only available after progressing through Prologue II and unlocking the scooter. If the NPC doesn't appear, continue with the main story until Good Business, Better Treasure is completed and rest in the dorm.
Here are all the objectives for this quest:
-
Vintage Shop's Mirror
-
Not a mirror
-
Could this be a collector's item?
-
The owner of the sink
Vintage Shop's Mirror
The first objective starts near the fountain area on Hankaku Street in Bridge Crossings. Two girls discuss rumors about a magic mirror that is said to reveal the future. Listen to their conversation to officially start the side quest.
One girl fully believes that the mirror anomaly is real, while the other thinks it may be related to some parallel world phenomenon. This brief interaction reveals the mystery of the entire quest.
After listening to the conversation, your next destination will be Good Joe's Vintage Shop. Head there and talk to Good Joe inside the building. He claims to own the famous mirror that everyone has been talking about, but the conversation quickly starts to sound suspicious.
The shop owner seems more interested in making money from curious customers than proving the authenticity of the mirror.
Not a mirror
Once you leave the Vintage Shop, another conversation will automatically start nearby. Two students standing outside continue their discussion about the so-called “Magic Mirror”, but they reveal something interesting. According to them, the object that everyone is looking for may not actually be a mirror at all.
The target will update and send you towards Golden Apple Collection Hall in New Herland County. The museum is about 1.3 km northeast of the store, so using a scooter or fast travel helps speed up the trip.
Inside the lobby, look for Dolores, the museum guide. Talk to her and ask about the mysterious “Miracle Container” when the dialogue option appears. Dolores explains that the museum currently has nothing on display that matches the rumors, but she remembers hearing about a strange sink associated with a similar anomaly.

Could this be a collector's item?
After talking with Dolores, the investigation continues towards the Miguel District. Another clue directs you to a grocery store owner named Kookie, who supposedly owns a mysterious sink.
Travel west from the Golden Apple Collection Hall until you reach the Strange Eats grocery store. Enter the store and talk to Kookie behind the counter.
Kookie first assumes you are there as a regular customer. Keep asking about the rumors until he finally acknowledges the sink and reluctantly lets you explore. He warns you not to spread the word about it when you're done.
The sink itself is located inside the store near the corner to the right of the counter. Interact with him to start the next part of the quest.
You need to fill the tank with water before the actual interaction is available.
The owner of the sink
After filling the basin with water, interact with it once more to trigger a reflection scene. Instead of showing your current character normally, the water reveals an alternate gendered version of Esper Zero. This confirms that the rumors surrounding the anomaly were partially true after all.
Once the cutscene ends, talk to Kookie again to complete the In The Reflection quest completely.
In The Reflection Quest Rewards
The biggest reward from In the Reflection is the Switch Appraiser feature in the settings menu under the “Other” tab.
Once unlocked, you can change your protagonist's gender at any time directly from the settings menu. Unlike many cosmetic systems in other games, there is no additional cost associated with this feature. After every 24 hours in the game, you can change at will.
The quest also rewards 50 Bridge Crossings Footprint Points, which helps increase regional completion progress in the area.
