Sung Jinwoo begins Solo leveling as a weak E-Rank Hunter who can barely hold his own in combat. Barely stronger than the average human, Sung Jinwoo can't do much in a dungeon like E-Rank. That doesn't stop him from always trying his hardest and putting his life on the line, doubly so when he gains access to the System and quickly uses his ability to level up as a means to become the strongest man alive at the end of the year. Solo leveling.
Sung Jinwoo did not inherit his father's overwhelming power, instead he needed to earn his gains through rigorous training and putting his life on the line again and again. Sung Jinwoo's mother and sister are just normal human beings, but the rest of his family are Hunters with greater natural potential than himself. Between the original Solo leveling and Solo Alignment: RagnarokSung Jinwoo's family has grown in both size and strength – most of them becoming some of the most overpowered characters in Solo leveling.

Yoo Jin-Ho becomes Sung Jinwoo's brother-in-law in the New Timeline
A Tanker Class D-Rank Hunter, Yoo Jin-Ho has become Sung Jinwoo's best friend and right-hand man over the years. Solo leveling (much to Sung Jinwoo's chagrin). By the time they meet, Sung Jinwoo is already slightly stronger than Yoo Jin-Ho, but it's interesting to note that Yoo Jin-Ho was naturally stronger than Sung Jinwoo before the System had. IN Solo Alignment: RagnarokIn the edited timeline, Yoo Jin-Ho marries Sung Jinah and becomes Sung Jinwoo's brother-in-law.
Yoo Jin-Ho also helps raise and take care of Sung Suho in the absence of Sung Jinwoo and Cha Hae-In. As a hunter, Yoo Jin-Ho is nothing to write home about and is on the weaker end, even at D-rank. Yoo Jin-Ho makes up for his poor stats by using the best armor, weapons, and equipment money can buy. Yoo Jin-Ho's biggest claim to fame is helping to found the Ahjin Guild, which becomes the most powerful guild in South Korea (although it is solely carried by Sung Jinwoo). Yoo Jin-Ho is an important partner to Sung Jinwoo, but more because of his connections, not his strength.

Sung Il-Hwan is an unofficial S-Rank who fought multiple monarchs at once
When Sung Il-Hwan was lost in a dungeon raid before the start Solo levelingthe rating system has not yet been implemented. Based on the performances alone, Sung Il-Hwan is clearly a higher level S-Rank Hunter. Sung Il-Hwan is naturally very strong and goes into battle with two monarchs at once during the Monarch Wars arc at the end of the year Solo leveling. He eventually dies, but even the National level Hunters are outmatched by the Monarchs.
The fact that Sung Il-Hwan was able to hold off Fang Monarch Rakan and Frost Monarch Sillad is an amazing feat. IN Ragnarok solo levelingSung Il-Hwan is immune to the influence of the Outer Gods. Even National Level Hunters cannot resist Itari, indicating that Sung Il-Hwan is now much stronger than he was in the original timeline. When it comes to Ruler vessels, Sung Il-Hwan is the most powerful of the lot.

Cha Hae-In becomes one of the strongest hunters living in Ragnarok
Cha Hae-In is an S-Rank Hunter and one of the most powerful hunters in South Korea. In the original Solo leveling Timeline, she ends up being overcome by the power of Sung Jinwoo and the Monarchs. Not so in this case Solo Alignment: Ragnarokwhere Cha Hae-In becomes one of the most powerful hunters in the entire world. After the wedding, Sung Jinwoo Cha Hae-In becomes pregnant with their son Sung Suho.
By carrying Sung Suho for nine months—who eventually inherits Sung Jinwoo's potential and power—he functionally transforms into the Ruler's vessel. Her pregnancy greatly increases Cha Hae-In's ability to power, so much so that she is now strong enough to single-handedly defeat Apostle Itarima while absorbing his mana. That means Cha Hae-In has entered Ragnarok she is stronger than National Level Hunters, putting her above characters like Thomas Andre and Liu Zhigang.

Sung Suho inherits his father's overwhelming power
Sung Suho is the son of Sung Jinwoo and Cha Hae-In in the revised version Solo Alignment: Ragnarok timeline. Unlike Sung Jinwoo, Sung Suho was born with natural strength and potential that would eventually manifest when he is a teenager. Sung Suho is second only to Sung Jinwoo when it comes to S-Rank Hunters, and at the current rate he's growing, he'll eventually surpass his father. Sung Suho even levels up faster than Sung Jinwoo while having higher stats at lower levels than his father.
Sung Suho can use the system to level up, stat allocation, and store items just like Sung Jinwoo, and his fighter class makes him a dangerous threat in battle. Sung Suho is the successor to the Monarch of Shadows – allowing him to use his own Shadow Army – and is also the successor to the Monarch of Destruction. Sung Suho can also use Beast Possession to bond with his Shadow World, Grey, offering him a massive power boost.

Solo Leveling: Strongest S-Rank Hunter in each country, ranked
Sung Jinwoo is easily South Korea's strongest Solo Leveling character and most powerful S-Rank, but he's not alone at the top of the totem pole.
1
Sung Jinwoo is the most powerful hunter in existence
Sung Jinwoo is the strongest S-Rank Hunter in the entire world and the single most powerful character in the Solo leveling universe. Calling Sung Jinwoo overwhelmed would be the understatement of the century. By using the System to level up, increase stats, and acquire new weapons and items through his shop, Sung Jinwoo eventually became strong enough to surpass national level hunters and even monarchs.
IN Solo Alignment: RagnarokSung Jinwoo is the only hunter capable of stopping Itarim. As the Shadow Monarch and King of the Dead, Sung Jinwoo can raise the dead back to life – be they humans or monsters – and recruit them into his Shadow Army. Sung Jinwoo's Shadows as an extension of himself are extremely powerful, but he has reached the point where he doesn't even need his Shadows to defeat the strongest characters. Solo leveling has to offer. He may not have started out that way, but Sung Jinwoo is by far the strongest member of his family.
