It's always sad to see a game like this Fate 2 come to an end. For all its ups and downs, it remained a fun experience for many players who enjoyed the looter shooter genre. Although it is difficult to replace what Fate 2 the good news is that there are still games that capture the same magic. You just need to know what your cup of tea was while playing Fate 2and go for a game that offers it.

Saying goodbye to Destiny 2 is the hardest thing I'll ever do in gaming
Saying goodbye to Destiny 2 hurts because I'm leaving behind not just a game, but a version of my life that I can never go back to.
In this list, instead of focusing on quantity, I'll highlight three games that share similarities with Fate 2. They don't offer the exact same experience, but each brings enough unique content to stand out as a potential replacement.

Helldivers 2
Endless space missions
Helldivers 2 is not a looter shooter like Fate 2 in any way. You won't be playing this to grind endless gear drops. Instead, Helldivers 2 offers immersive and cinematic gameplay that engages you from the first moments in the game. The atmosphere is brutal. Bugs or machines, they come from everywhere and create chaos on the battlefield. However, all this chaos is created by the enemies themselves. As for you, you're just a regular soldier with some cool toys trying to get through the day. It's an experience that never gets boring, and you'll enjoy every mission you take on, especially with friends.
Once you purchase the game, there is no real sense of progression other than leveling up and collecting currency to unlock weapons, armor sets, and ship modules. You will unlock everything soon and how long you play will depend on how much you enjoy the game. It's a very different game from Fate 2but I had to suggest it anyway because some of his cosmetic and space combat are similar Fate 2. More importantly, Helldivers 2 it really captures that feeling of being in space and fighting aliens.

War frame
Space Looter Shooter
War frame is probably the closest game to scratching the space looter shooter itch Fate 2. The game has a lot of content such as quests and planets to explore. Some of these planets even have open worlds filled with additional quests. In addition, there are more than 60 warframes and thousands and thousands of upgrades for weapons and characters. Something like this is expected from a game that has been out for over 10 years.
Fight in War frame it's fast-paced where you find yourself constantly moving and shooting while the waves of enemies keep getting bigger and bigger. You unlock abilities that let you dash everywhere and abilities that destroy everything around you, and there are barely any cooldowns to prevent you from using them. It's pure chaos. in addition War frameThe daily and weekly grind is constantly changing to keep the experience fresh and engaging. Simply put, there are hundreds of hours to immerse yourself in War frame after starting the game for the first time.
Of course, after all this, it's easy to feel overwhelmed and like you're years behind on your grind. This is probably true because a new player's inventory cannot be compared to someone who has been playing for many years. Not to mention there are a lot of mechanics, items and currencies to learn for new players. However, there's no real pressure to catch up to someone because you can play to your heart's content War frame at your own pace. You can access most of the old content anytime you want to get all the important items. You can also ignore systems you don't understand until you have more time to review and explore them.
I personally couldn't enjoy it War frameIt's a quick fight as I prefer a more tactical approach. This is the main reason I never delved deeper into his other mechanics. But every time I start War framei can easily see how much work the developers put into the game and they deserve all the flowers for it.

Tom Clancy's The Division 2
Looter Shooter with solid PVE
While Division 2 it's not in space, its game loop is one of the closest things you can get Fate 2 gameplay. Of course, not being set in space doesn't take away from you Division's theme, as the game has a phenomenal atmosphere across Washington and New York. The game has a large collection of quests and PvE content, which is enough for 30-40 hours of gameplay. After that, the endgame content will start and you can start your endless quest to build better.

Here's why The Division 2 is better than Destiny 2
As great as Destiny 2 is, The Division 2 challenges its quality in several key ways. This is where Bungie's love child beats it.
Speaking of constructions, Division 2 is one of those games that gives you the freedom to build your character as you see fit. You can build a sniper, front line shooter, support, technician or even a healer build. It all depends on the weapons and equipment you equip. Being able to build a character like this encourages players to farm and grind gear. You can even target specific types of equipment and get them as rewards whenever you complete a PvE activity. This makes the end loop much nicer and closer Fate 2game over.
Division 2Endgame is a major part of his game, as the entire progression system is built around grinding this loop. Combat in the game is also tactical and team-based, where having a team will usually lead to better and easier results. You can still complete activities on your own, but not as efficiently as when you have a team. Additionally, during combat, you really need to understand enemy patterns, your build, and the surrounding environment to know where to place your agent and which enemy to take out first.
