Dragon Ball Super 2 will officially prove that Vegeta is better than Goku and is more talented

Vegeta has always been naturally stronger than Goku Dragon Ball. As a child, Goku's Power Level barely crossed 100, while Vegeta was stronger than King Vegeta when he was a boy. By the time they fought in the Saiyan Saga, Vegeta's base power level was roughly 10,000 points higher than Goku's without using the Kaioken. Even using the full extent of the Kaioken Goku was unable to defeat Vegeta and the Prince of All Saiyans had more than enough energy to turn into an ape, de-transform, fight Gohan and fuel the Spirit Bomb.

Dragon Ball Super he only doubled down on the idea that Vegeta is naturally more talented than Goku. While Goku had to use the God Ritual to unlock the Super Saiyan God, Vegeta forced his way to unlocking the Super Saiyan God just by training hard enough. The Dragon Ball Super: The Galactic Patrol anime proves once and for all that Vegeta is the most talented Saiyan alive when he finally masters the one technique that everyone thought only Goku could learn.

Vegeta learns a technique that Goku trained all year to master in a matter of minutes

After defeating Frieza in Dragon Ball ZGoku uses the Ginyu Force Space Module that was already programmed for the planet Yardrat to escape Namek. At Yardrat, Goku trained for a year in Spirit Control to learn Instant Transmission. IN Dragon Ball Super manga, Vegeta travels to Yardrat during the Galactic Patrol Prisoner Saga to train with Goku's master, Pybara, to learn a Spirit-based technique that will help him defeat Mora.

Pybara tells Vegeta that it took Goku 150 days to stabilize his spirit, allowing him to finally learn Instant Transmission. While Vegeta initially struggles to keep his Ki stable, he quickly begins to make major breakthroughs that far surpass anything Goku achieved while on Yardrat. Not only does Vegeta learn Forced Spirit Fission, a technique that allows him to cancel fusions and absorptions while transferring Ki to and from other fighters, Vegeta can master Instant Transfer within minutes.

Realizing that he won't be able to go back in time to help Goku fight Moro, Vegeta has Pybara train him in the basics of Instant Transmission. Despite spending his time learning Forced Spirit Fission and not Instant Transmission, Vegeta is able to analyze the principles of Spirit Control well enough to trigger Instant Transmission and teleport into Goku just in time to fight Mor himself. Something that took Goku an entire year to learn only took Vegeta registration. If that doesn't prove that Vegeta is the more talented Saiyan, then nothing does.

Vegeta is a prodigy born of hard work

IN Dragon Ball Super Chapter 60, Pybara calls Vegeta a “prodigy”, specifically “born of hard work”. While Dragon Ball Z showed that Goku trained smarter than Vegeta, while Vegeta trained harder, this will all change Dragon Ball Super: The Galactic Patrol. After a lifetime of falling behind Goku, Dragon Ball Super 2 is going to justify all of Vegeta's struggles. While Goku focuses too much on raw strength and mastering Ultra Instinct, Vegeta humbles himself by going back to the basics. Just looking at the master in the Moro Saga shows how much Vegeta has grown and changed.

Vegeta still works hard, but he goes about it in a smarter way that recognizes those who are better than him. In Granolah the Survivor Saga, Vegeta becomes Beerus' apprentice and is gifted with the earring of the God of Destruction as he studies as much of Beerus' abilities as he can. It's this humility that allows Vegeta to eventually unlock Ultra Ego, a form that finally puts him on par with Goku in terms of power. In Super Hero Saga, Vegeta learns the value of meditation, defeats Goku in one-on-one combat, and is crowned the true strongest Saiyan in Dragon Ball by surpassing his opponent for good.
