Persona 4 Revival has received an age rating in South Korea, indicating that it will be released within the next year. Sega has not officially revealed Persona 4 Revival's release window, but its financial reports suggest the company is about to launch Personality 4 remake in fiscal year 2027. This means that Sega expects it to be released between April 2026 and March 2027. Persona 3 Reload launched in February 2024, so Sega could be targeting a release window similarly early in the year Revival. A second likely possibility is that Sega is aiming to launch the lucrative holiday season before the end of 2026.

All fans have their own Persona 4 Revival wish list, but there are a number of changes that seem likely given the changes made Persona 3 Reload. Revival will probably add the Theurgy and Baton Pass attacks that are part of the newer ones Persona games and other activities to participate in during free time segments. The story and social references are expected to remain mostly the same, but some of the more controversial jokes, especially those about the LGBTQ+ community, could be changed as if they were in Reload. However, aside from the graphical changes, no other modifications to the game have been officially announced.
