Diablo 4 Announces 3rd Anniversary Event With Free Gifts

Blizzard has revealed its plans for the celebration Diablo 43rd anniversary, including the return of Goblin March and Mother of Blessing events along with five days of free gifts. Diablo 4 recently saw a big increase in returning players with the release of the Lord of Hatred expansion at the end of April, and now players have even more of a reason to return to the game. The celebrations begin on June 2nd and continue until June 9th.

Diablo 4 it was first released on June 5, 2023, and has undergone several major changes in the three years since then. Along with the release of two major expansions in 2024's Vessel of Hatred and this year's Lord of Hatred, Diablo 4 it also saw 13 seasons of balance changes and mechanical overhauls to get to where it is today. Like Diablo the franchise as a whole celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, Diablo 4 gets to celebrate with its own exciting event.

In a blog post from Blizzard, the company shared the details Diablo 43rd anniversary event. The highlight of the event is five days of free cosmetic gifts that players will be able to claim, including:

Day 1 – Blood Raven's Talon (One Handed Sword Cosmetic)
Day 2 – King Kanai's Last Stand (Shield Cosmetic)
Day 3 – Nangari Wounder (dagger cosmetics)
Day 4 – Overlord's Odium (Two-Handed Axe)
Day 5 – Flamefinger's Claws (Glaive Cosmetic)

The first of these gifts will be available within Diablo 4 Shop June 1st at 12pm PDT, with a new gift added every day until June 6th. Diablo 4 players simply need to log into the game and enter the store to claim these gifts before they expire on June 9.

In addition to these free gifts Diablo 4 players can also participate in the Mother's Blessing and March of the Goblins events. Mother's Blessing increases the amount of XP players earn from all in-game activities, making it the perfect way to finish leveling a seasonal build or reach the top of the Paragon Board. It is also an ideal opportunity for players to build a second character Diablo 4 Season 13, maybe trying out one of the insanely overpowered Barbarian or Warlock builds available this season.
