Disarm the enemy by shooting the weapon from his hand

You automatically get this achievement in The Needle's Eye when you are trained to disarm an enemy by shooting the handgun.

When you get “License to Kill” in combat, shoot the enemy in both legs and they should fall.

Short fuse

Shoot the enemy when he throws a grenade

When you get a “License to Kill” in combat, hide behind cover and the enemy will eventually throw a grenade, which you can use Focus (L3) to slow down time and shoot the grenade in mid-air. The Ambush checkpoint in “The Past Never Dies” is a good place to try.

Damp squib

Hack the grenade before it explodes

After throwing the grenade, quickly use L1 to enter the Q-Lens and slow down time, then hit the Q-Watch quick hack to disarm the grenade. The Ambush checkpoint in “The Past Never Dies” is a good place to try.

Hold R2 to rush and you can push the enemy right into the fire extinguisher on the wall. There are many areas with fire extinguishers, but the Laundry checkpoint in “All the Time in the World” has a few early on.

Disarm the enemy with the laser

You can get the Laser Strap in “The Past Never Dies” and you'll quickly enter the “Licensed to Kill” fight in Scorpius Deal, so just equip the Laser Strap to your gadgets and use it on an armed enemy.

Positively shocking

Turn an enemy taser into another enemy

During the “Uninvited” story mission, breaking into the security room will have enemies with tasers. They aim their guns and a blue light indicates where the taser will be fired.

Soft landing

Get over the enemy over the ledge

Hold R2 on the enemy and continue to hold R2 as you dash off the ledge. This can easily be done in TacSim Tier 2 Advanced Close Combat Training: The Test.

Always have an exit plan

Use the gadget to escape the confrontation

In trespassing, you can intentionally walk into the Guardians to confront you. Instead of bluffing, you can press L1 to enter the Q-Lens and use the gadget to distract them.

Escalations are found in “Tactical Simulations” from the main menu. Advanced Tactical Training Tier 1 is extremely easy because it's literally a tutorial on how to use a weapon.

Preparedness is everything

Defeat Level 3 Escalation in TacSim

Also in “Tactical Simulations” you'll want to complete level 1 of escalation to unlock level 2 and then complete it to get level 3. Advanced tactical training will be the easiest as these three levels will teach you how the weapons work.

What if…?

Complete the operation in TacSim

Operations are available in “Tactical Simulations” from the main menu, but are unlocked only after you beat the main story. As of launch, Operations are just certain combat and stealth sections from the main story with unique objectives.

You can get a level 3 clearance from “Tactical Simulations” simply by completing escalations and operations.
