Diablo 4's new bug fix can make players immortal

In an effort to fix the bugged defensive enchantment introduced in the latest Diablo 4 Blizzard seems to have re-bugged this to almost comical levels, making players equipped with Aspect of Glynn's Anvil essentially immortal. Diablo 4 players may want to jump into this too-good-to-be-true buff, as it may be a matter of time before Blizzard fixes it.

The Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred the expansion introduced the Paladin and Warlock classes, made various changes and additions to the endgame, added a new campaign, and more. Especially, Lord of Hate The expansion also introduced the Aspect of Glynn's Anvil defensive enchantment, which grants damage reduction to barbarians, druids, necromancers, paladins, rogues, and Spiritborn on the player's Resolve stacks, up to a maximum of eight Resolve stacks. The way it works is that each aspect increases the player's Resolve by 2, giving them 2.5 – 4% Damage Reduction per Resolve; however, players found that they did not receive the full damage reduction proposed by Glynn's Anvil when the new expansion was first released. Now that Blizzard has tried to fix the problem, things have gotten interesting.

Diablo 4's new rarest item is a complete game changer

Diablo 4's new item was considered the rarest in the game and finally appeared almost a month after the release of Lord of Hatred.

Diablo 4 tries to fix an aspect of Glynn's Anvil and instead makes players immortal

The following patch 3.0.2 for Diablo 4players have found that they can now bypass the eight-stack limit for Glynn's Anvil and can add Legendary Aspect to all gear, making them virtually immortal thanks to the high stacking effect of Resolve and Damage Reduction. One fan shared on Reddit that their Toughness has now exceeded 53 million, while some fans have reported Toughness stats exceeding 100 million on the right build. At these levels, players are essentially untouchable goliaths, as even 2 million Toughness is enough to get through Torment 12 in Diablo 4.

Unfortunately, the Witcher and Warlock can't use Aspect of Glynn's Anvil, but those who can certainly have fun with it. Diablo 4 Players using this new bug seem to be using it to experiment with different builds and offensive strategies as they no longer have to worry about their defense as they are essentially immortal. They also seem to take down the very annoying Torment 12 Mephisto in droves. It has also been found that Druids in particular can benefit greatly from Glynn's Anvil due to the class's strong Resolve stacking abilities, resulting in Druid classes being the most capable of reaching that insane 100 million Toughness stat.

It's unclear if Blizzard intends to nerf Aspect of Glynn's Anvil, but Diablo 4 it has had one small patch since 3.0.2 and doesn't seem to have fixed this bug at all. There's a small chance that Glynn's Anvil works as intended, and that Blizzard didn't anticipate it being used like this on such a large scale, but given how some builds have broken because of it, it's unlikely. Diablo 4 Fans looking to get the best possible build for this moment in the season should probably try to find Glynn's Anvil before it's too late.
