8BitDo has just officially announced the Ultimate 3 and Ultimate 3E controllers XboxPC and mobile devices. These officially licensed Xbox controllers are highly customizable and offer pro-level accuracy, and are slightly cheaper than the Xbox's own Elite controllers.
For over a decade, 8BitDo has remained one of the leading voices in the world of video game accessories, controllers and peripherals. The new Xbox Ultimate 3 controller from 8BitDo costs $99.99 and offers plenty of features you'd expect from a pro-level controller, like back buttons, adjustable Force Rings for TMR joysticks, hall-effect pulse triggers, and even extra bumpers. This controller is set to release on October 31, 2026, and pre-orders are now open through Amazon. When compared directly to Microsoft's own offerings, 8BitDo's Ultimate 3 controller is most similar to the Xbox Elite Series 2 Core controller, which typically retails for around $140.

Along with all the bells and whistles present in the Ultimate 3, the Ultimate 3E controller comes with a set of customizable buttons with a magnetic face and options for multiple user profiles, along with other exclusive features. As a higher-end model, this controller is more similar to the Xbox Elite Series 2 controller, which typically retails for around $200.
