After the official announcement a few weeks ago Splitgate studio 1047 Games has released a cinematic reveal trailer for its upcoming Titanfall– inspired shooter, Impulse. The upcoming shooter is a new direction for 1047 Games that departs from Portal and Halo-inspired Splitgatefor a movement-focused, mech-focused competitive FPS that could fill the void left by Respawn Games nearly a decade ago.

Whenever the time comes for a new Titanfall, Apex Legends should be its springboard
Titanfall 3 might not be on the cards for a while, but if it does, Apex Legends should be the game's most valuable stepping stone.
Fans can now soon see what Impulse has a new Early Access Cinematic Trailer in store for them later this year, showcasing grapple gameplay mechanics, parkour-based movement, and a glimpse of what mechs will look like. This early look sheds some light on the shootout, but it seems to have a little bit of everything ahead of the upcoming full reveal. The 40-second trailer also shows off PAINT's upcoming movement system, which according to 1047 Games is another Portal-inspired mechanic that replaces traditional jump pads for movement-shooters. Early access for Impulse starts later this year, with registration already running on the game's official website.
