Zelda fans demanded a Princess Twilight remake for years, especially since it remains the only 3D Zelda it cannot be played on Nintendo Switch 2. News Ocarina of Time remake brought new interest to the idea and Princess Twilight remodel, but it's about: a Princess Twilight a remake already exists. Although not in video game form.
In 2016, the legendary duo behind each other The Legend of Zelda manga adaptation, Akira Himekawa, volume 1 finally released The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Unlike their previous manga, Princess Twilight is a full adaptation of the video game that cuts nothing, fleshes out the story and even adds new material that helps enrich the game's plots and characters even more. Princess Twilight is an 11-part epic that ran for six years and must be the plan to remake the game when Nintendo gets around to it.

The Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake is officially changing the Hylian Shield
The upcoming remake of Zelda: Ocarina of Time brings a change to the Hylian Shield that may not sit well with some fans of the original game.
The Twilight Princess Manga is a must read for any Zelda fan
All of them Zelda the manga is a great read, but the fact that they need to burn through each game's story tends to hurt the pacing. Ocarina of Time he used to be the best Zelda manga because of how much time is given to each part of the story, but even then Akira Himekawa had to skip Shadow Temple and basically speed up the end of the game. Princess Twilight doesn't have this problem at all. Each chapter is carefully managed, allowing the story to not only breathe, but also allowing the characters to sit in their development or major narrative moments.
It also ends up doing the manga a huge service artistically. Because Akira Himekawa doesn't have to worry about limited time per page, Princess Twilight features some of the best page compositions and spreads in the entire series. Princess Twilight is not only good for a Zelda adaptation, it's a legitimately great-looking manga with excellent paneling, beautifully atmospheric artwork, and amazing fight choreography that does the fight nothing but justice.

The Twilight Princess Manga fixes all game issues
Princess Twilight is a great game, but it also has a lot of problems with the previous 3D Zeldas never had The pace of the game is a mess. Most of the cutscenes are front-loaded before the first three dungeons, while the first three hours are a complete slog. The difficulty is zero, the enemies barely deal damage let alone hit you. The story, while well written and carried by Midna, also suffers from having virtually no thematic depth.
Ocarina of Time, The Major's Maskand The Wind Waker all have deep stories about life, grief, the passage of time and culture, and moving on from the past. Princess Twilight it is very superficial in comparison. However, this only applies to the game. The Princess Twilight the manga does an amazing job of fleshing out the plot and fixing any pacing issues. Since Link is an actual character with a defined personality and in-depth development, the slower moments of the manga actually breathe much better, instead focusing on world-building and fleshing out Link's relationship with Midna.
Thematically, the manga does more with the game's unexplored themes and duality by including deeper political intrigue, emphasizing the bizarre dynamic between Zant and Midna, and using Link's arc to emphasize how he and Midna change each other. NPCs also get a lot of love, like members of the Resistance. The only thing the manga downplays is the actual dungeon crawling, but that makes sense considering there's no gameplay. Even then, the dungeons are still a great environment with plenty of atmosphere and strong action scenes.

Twilight Princess is the Ultimate Ocarina of Time Sequel
The best thing Princess Twilight manga makes them bind more cleanly Ocarina of Time. Princess Twilight touches on fate as a theme in the main game, but the final confrontation between Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf feels more like fan service than something the game ultimately set itself up for. This is not the case in the manga. Princess Twilight contains several links Ocarina of Timeshowing how the passage of time shaped Hyrule and tied the fates of Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf together. Thematically flashbacks to Ocarina they are amazingly done and set up a finale that far surpasses it Princess Twilight game settings.
The last few chapters adapting Link's final battle with Ganondorf feature a deep exploration of the cyclical nature of the series and the reincarnation cycle in which the three Triforce wielders are trapped. Ganondorf's familiarity with Zelda during the tea party scene in the manga is downright chilling, and the bond Link forms with the Hero of Time's spirit throughout the manga makes Ganondorf's death more cat-like. When Nintendo finally gets around to remaking Princess Twilight from the ground up, he must look to manga for inspiration. It never was before Zelda the franchise mythology felt so meaningful, deep and nuanced.
