Behavior Interactive invited fans and media from around the world to visit Montreal where Dead by Daylightmultiplayer asymmetric horror phenomenon is developed. A game that has somehow managed to stay relevant and continue to grow for over a decade.
During the massive tenth anniversary live broadcast for Dead by DaylightBehavior Interactive had plenty of information to share about the long-term future of the game, as well as some content coming sooner rather than later. We'll get to that below, but the most important announcement fans have been waiting for is the introduction of the new playable Killer, who is in demand long now who is very scary (wink wink).

Except for the arrival of Jason Voorhees Dead by Daylight On June 16, as part of a new chapter and The Judgment is coming as part of Chorus of Sin in August, Behavior Interactive revealed that Art the Clown from More threatening the movie series hits the game sometime in November.
Upcoming Dead by Daylight Chapters and Collabs
Another big reveal from the livestream is the debut of a new indigenous survivor named Shane Wiigwaas. It will be part of “The Life Road” chapter, which will launch on June 25.
In addition, the community-voted expansion Chorus of Sin will bring a new Survivor named Aurora and a new original Killer, Judgment, which should be released sometime in August to kick off Chapter 41 DBD.
And to wrap up the chapter news, Cast by Frank Stonespin-off title developed by Supermassive Games will get its own Chapter adaptation Dead by Daylightwhich will occur in early 2027.

Technical upgrades and new game modes
Since the developers Dead by Daylight we've been working on the same product for over a decade, it's been challenging to keep the game as modern and visually polished as the titles coming out these days. But surprisingly, the team has been working on a major visual overhaul of all characters, as well as improving the maps, adding changes to lighting, environments, details and more, which should be released in 2027.

Dead by Daylight movie update
The Dead by Daylight the film is full steam ahead and it has been revealed that he will be directing the horror film Thordur Palssonbest known for his work on Damnation (2024) a Murders in Valhalla (2019–2020).
