Xbox Game Pass subscribers are treated to another first release, this time in the form of Stormcloud Games' 3D action platformer Junkster. Microsoft's subscription service continues to add a steady stream of new titles across Xbox, PC, cloud and handheld devices, with members gaining access to everything from AAA releases to smaller indie projects that might fall under the radar. June has been a particularly busy month for Xbox Game Pass so far.
Already in the first half of June, subscribers received an interesting selection of titles on Xbox Game Pass. Extras include a cozy open-world survival game Solarpunkboxing title Unexceptionable, a returning RPG Persona 5 Royala life sim and deck builder focused on cooking beast, cooperative platformer Frog Squid, and the latest Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions. And now, with the addition of another first title, the Xbox Game Pass June lineup continues to grow.

As usual with Microsoft's demos, Xbox Game Pass subscribers can now look forward to a whole new set of games.
Xbox Game Pass players can embody a junkyard robot in Junkster
June 16 Junksterdeveloped by Stormcloud Games, has joined the Xbox Game Pass library as a title for Ultimate and PC subscribers. The 3D platformer puts players in control of UM-13, a small construction robot stranded on a dangerous junkyard planet after a crash landing. Armed with a robo key, UM-13 must recover lost cargo, collect valuable artifacts, and repair his damaged ship. Junkster features a construction mechanic that allows players to build items and solve environmental challenges while exploring their new temporary home in the junkyard.
Junkster is just one of several day one releases that arrived on Xbox Game Pass in June, with more to come this month. On June 17, subscribers have midnight shift a cooperative detective horror game that will launch on the first day of service. Game Pass Ultimate members will be able to jump in EA Sports UFC via EA Play when it comes out of Early Access on June 18, and on the PC version Age of Empires Mobile it will launch just a few days later on June 23rd. There will also be an official version 1.0 in July Palworld will be released after more than two years in early access.

Platformer fans also have plenty of options available on the subscription service. Of course, Hollow Knight: Silksong stands out among the bunch, as well as Super Meat Boy 3D and Planet Lana 2. The award-winning co-op game Hazelight It takes two is also still available through EA Play with Game Pass and Little Nightmares 2 for those who like a more disturbing atmosphere. Besides the aforementioned co-op puzzle platformer Frog SquwadGame Pass Ultimate and PC members also recently gained Exchangeda cyberpunk platform adventure set in an alternate 1980s America. And on July 17, the service will be added Denshattack when it starts. The fast-paced platformer puts players in control of a train racing through a dystopian Japan.
