How to complete the above and beyond triumph in Destiny 2

There is a section in the seal of the Monument of Triumph Fate 2 which asks players to replay certain campaign missions and complete challenges within them. The Above and Beyond Triumph will allow players to replay the Beyond mission from the game Shadow guard expansion, and although Triumph is not that difficult to complete, players can easily miss the most important part of it. In this guide, we'll show you the exact steps you need to take to complete Fate 2 Above and beyond the call.

For this Triumph, you must go to the moon and select the Beyond mission north of Sorrow's Harbor. Open the map and select the mission you want to start.

You will appear outside the perimeter of a large red fortress and your goal is to go underground and explore the pyramid hidden under the moon. As for Triumph Above and Beyond, the challenge is as follows:

In the Beyond mission, find the Bestowed Darkblade and get the Darkblade Harvester buff. Then complete the mission without dying.

You can find this enemy very early in the mission. Once you emerge, follow your quest marker until you reach the dark tunnels. Blast the Hive into the path of a once the path forks into two cave entrances, you'll find a Bestowed Darkblade near the entrance on the right. Darkblade is a Hive Knight who will stalk towards you ominously as soon as he sees you. Blast it all you want and once it's dead you'll get the Darkblade Harvester buff. The buff doesn't really do anything, but if you die it disappears and forces you to replay the mission.

The rest of the mission Beyond v Fate 2 includes a boss gauntlet featuring three of the story's biggest villains: Galia, Fanatic, and Crota.. You'll fight their weakened versions one by one, and after you defeat Crot, you're pretty much done with the mission. Again, try not to die or you'll be forced to replay everything. Any build with a good lifespan (like this one Fate 2 Crackshot Hunter Build) will be more than enough for this challenge.

The Beyond mission will not always be available on the moon. If it's not on your map, you'll have to wait for the game to bring it back.

Above and beyond Rewards

If you want to get the Immortal title, you must complete Above and Beyond Triumph Fate 2. Claiming this triumph on the Journey tab will earn you Legendary Tokens that you can use to buy cosmetics or gear from Tenets at the Tower.

Earning the title of Immortal takes a lot of work. Expect to replay multiple campaign missions and do even more challenges of different types if you want to get it. Fortunately, each of these challenges will reward you with even more Legendary Marks, giving you the opportunity to buy whatever Monument of Triumph reward you want (although some are locked behind their own challenges).
