However, one fan has a valid reason Pokemon Go should consider changing the time of community days.

Pokemon Go fan Common_Race_8396 shared his complaints about the timing of the Community Day events on the game's subreddit. The poster mentions that they live in a rural town in the South, probably in the United States, and states that temperatures during Community Days can reach up to 93°F, or roughly 34°C. A Reddit user shared that his phone started to slow down significantly due to overheating just 20 minutes after he left his house to attend an event. The post suggests that the high temperatures of the summer months could endanger the health of players trying to play the game Pokemon Gothereby increasing the risk of heat exhaustion during Community Day.

The comments on the post were filled with other fans echoing recurring issues with Community Day planning. One commenter suggested this Pokemon GoCommunity Day events should last all day, which was a frequent request from players. Another user suggested a “rain check” for Community Day that would allow fans to start the event at a different time or day, useful for both the original heat complaint and the inclement weather. However, others suggested that the original poster should consider driving somewhere that has an indoor place for them to play Pokemon Go.
