From the moment 4-year-old Cameron first stepped into Glimmer in Spyro 2, he knew video games would play a central role in the rest of his life. Although he never planned to make it the focal point of his career, Cameron spent the vast majority of his free time as an adult playing games, and after graduating from Reading University he thought he would try to write a few reviews. Epic Games has just confirmed that skins from Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 Battle Pass will return to the live action shooter, this time as part of the item shop. For those unaware, Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 was officially titled “Absolute Doom” and was the last major Battle Royale crossover season with the Marvel franchise.
Fortnite brings “Absolute Doom” skins back to the item shop
Announced via a Twitter post, Epic Games has just announced that Battle Pass skins from Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 is being removed and added to the in-game store. It is not currently confirmed which skins will be unvaulted or when exactly they will arrive Fortnite Shop, but here's a full list of all the skins that were originally included Fortnite Absolute Doom Battle Pass:
- Gwenpool
- A war machine
- Peelverine
- Emma Frost
- Captain Jones
- Mysterio
- Shuri
- Doctor Doom
For years, this was the only way players could access the included skins Fortnite's Battle Passes was to buy a Pass and complete all of its levels. But that all changed in August 2024, when Epic Games announced that they would start selling Battle Pass skins in Fortnite Trade items 18 months after they first appear. Approximately 22 months have passed since this announcement and approximately 19 months since closing Fortniteseason of Absolute Doom.
