Deltarune Chapter 5 Guide to Secret Eggs and Locations

Secret Eggs were a recurring collectible in each chapter Deltarune and it's among the easiest things to overlook while playing. These items are completely optional, and unless you know where to look for them, you're unlikely to come across them naturally.

There are also trophies that become unavailable if players collect certain eggs, making their true purpose even more mysterious. The guide below describes how to find eggs in Chapter 5.

How to get a secret egg in Deltarune Chapter 5

Play the chapter until you get it Petal Featheruse it to interact with the Mysterious Structures and fight your way into the Cliffs area. After you get to a shop that sells a few things, head right to find a wheat field with some enemies to recruit.

Once you've dealt with them, go through the Torii Gate. During this sequence, you'll have to dodge projectiles fired by a flying enemy until you reach the other side safely. Your next objective is to repeatedly travel back and forth through the Torii gates while destroying every bit of wheat in the area.

After clearing all the wheat, one block of wheat will appear. Keep destroying this block a few times until a balloon appears and starts moving to the left. Follow the balloon and enter a new room where you will find a dog attached to the balloon.

The dog will fly around and mark flowers to interact with. Follow the exact order the dog shows and once you complete the sequence, a watering can will appear in the middle of the room. Use it to create a path on the left side.

Following this route will take you to a tree room where you can find a mysterious man standing behind a tree. Talk to him to accept Eggand once you exhaust all his dialogues, you can leave the room with the secret collectible from Chapter 5.
