Takedown in Hadron Abyss has arrived Borderlands 4and it's described as the ultimate endgame challenge, and Gearbox isn't lying; it's really that hard! It took me less than an hour to clear the entire Takedown in Hadron Abyss, but an optimized team of Vault Hunters can easily speed up the encounter.
Below, we'll show you how to start Takedown in Hadron Abyss, the loot you can get by completing her various versions, and the loot that drops from her three minibosses: Tidebreaker, Gilgathresh, and Crackclaw, and of course, the Terramorphous Child!

The Undertaker and Thol the Invincible Boss Locations and Drops in Borderlands 4
Find out where to find and fight Subjugator and Thol The Invincible, along with their dedicated loot drops, to see if they're worth farming.
Takedown at Hadron Abyss is free for all Borderlands 4 players, so you won't need to collect any DLC to play! However, the content ahead is extremely demanding, so it is recommended to optimize your build and bring in additional vault hunters.
How to start Takedown at Hadron Abyss (Child of Terramorphous Location)
To start a Takedown in Hadron Abyss, you need to do this first beat the main campaign. Once the campaign is complete, target any Raid Board in the main hub area (like the Fadefields). On the Raid Board, you can pick up and track “Takedown Child of Terramorphous quest.
When the quest is now active, head north to Carcadia Burn to Wildhorn's Beard the area where in the north you can find a cave called Research Center B-0451. Just follow along and you will find a linear path. You will have to clear each area of enemies before proceeding.

-
Tidebreaker is the easiest to kill first since he only has a machine gun, so you'll want to focus all your fire on him to make sure you don't get overwhelmed when the other bosses show up.
-
Gilgathresh is a close range brawler, so you'll want to stay away from him as his hammer strikes can deal lethal damage if he gets too close.
-
Crackclaw is the hardest of the trio of bosses because he has a shield, meaning you have to be within range of him to attack him while his explosive termites explode around you.
All of these bosses have neutral health, meaning they have no base weaknesses.

When you defeat the Child of Terramorphous, you can head through the purple rift and return to the start of the mission.
