Using Goku's own move against him
As Broly began his battle against Goku and Vegeta, his power quickly proved to be immense, even after failing to control Paragus. Sensing that Broly wasn't actually evil, Goku tried to talk some sense into him using his God Bind technique to hold the Saiyan in place so he could reason with him.
While it seemed to work at first, Broly ended up going through this impressive technique using his own aura to replace the God Bind. In return, he used it back on Goku to trap him in place, showing that Broly's power was already too much to be contained by a God Ki technique like God Bind.

Broly's fight against the Super Saiyan Blue states of Goku and Vegeta showed exactly how powerful this Saiyan was, as he was able to overpower both of them, although of course he lost his mind in the process. One of the biggest displays of his power was when he used his massive Planet Crusher attack on Goku.
The Planet Crusher is similar to the Spirit Bomb in terms of how it looks and works, with Broly raising both hands above his head to collect a lot of energy in a massive Ki ball. This Ki was stormy, swirling and causing massive gusts of wind, and was so powerful that it destroyed much of the ground when Broly used it on Goku. While it didn't kill Goku, it should be noted that Broly was in his base form while Goku was in Super Saiyan Blue, and it still did a lot of damage.

As with the Planet Smasher, Broly showed tremendous destructive power with his unstoppable Omega Blaster. After Frieza killed Paragus, he informed the Saiyan of his father's death, causing Broly to lose what little sanity he had left and fully surrender his original power, which he demonstrated perfectly with his incredible Omega Blaster attack.
When Broly is in his Super Saiyan state, he releases an amazing and powerful shell of energy from his body and uses himself as the epicenter of the attack. Although this attack does not damage Broly himself, it releases a lot of his energy into rapid Ki blasts that hit the entire area he and Goku were fighting on, making him even stronger than Planet Crusher with his Super Saiyan power-up.

As for the strongest characters overall Dragon Ball franchises, Vegito and Gogeta definitely top the list. Broly's power was so great that Goku and Vegeta had to team up with him to fight him, eventually becoming the most powerful mortal we've ever seen in the series.
It's funny that the most powerful attack Broly ever performed was the Gigantic Omegastorm, which he unleashed in his normal Super Saiyan state instead of Full Powered. However, it can be seen why this attack is the strongest, as it matched Kamehameze Super Saiyan Gogeta anyway, and the resulting clash was so great that it broke the dimensional barrier and threw both fighters into a strange and alien dimension.
