New extra games for PS Plus are active

Three new games just arrived PlayStation Plus Other. Farming Simulator 25, Blades of Fireand Black desert are the latest games to join the PS Plus Extra library this June, a month where the really heavy hitters were released.

Released in November 2024, Farming Simulator 25 is the 15th major release of the long-running farming simulation game series. Like its predecessors, Farming Sim 25 offers a relaxed family walk around the world, this time allowing players to farm their own land in East Asia, North America and Central Europe. While its gameplay loop will be familiar to anyone who has read the previous entry, returning players will notice some new animals and crop types, new weather effects, improved graphics, and even more machines to drive.

Developed by the company Castlevania: Lords of Shadow and Metroid: Samus Returns studio MercurySteam, Blades of Fire originally hitting store shelves in May 2025. In this third-person action game, players must forge their own weapons and take on enemies using a very unique Soulslike combat system that requires the use of specific weapon types when facing certain enemies. Blades of Fire received a major 2.0 update last month that introduced a boss mode, a New Game Plus mode, new weapons, and a host of new and improved animations and tech features.

The last game in the PS Plus Extra June 2026 lineup is Black desert. The predecessor of this year's breakthrough hit Crimson DesertPearl Abyss' Black desert is a long-running MMORPG that first came to consoles in 2019. Standard Edition Black desertand the one that's now part of PS Plus Extra gives players access to the base game, as well as a polar bear pet and a 15-day Value Pack that unlocks limited-time in-game bonuses like increased storage capacity and XP boosts. While PlayStation hasn't confirmed July's free PS Plus games or next month's PS Plus Extra lineup, subscribers can expect some official news in the coming days.
