Scaling Difficulties is a sub-quest in the Icthlarin's Little Helper quest chain RuneScape: Dragonwilds where you must find a missing scouting party and hunt down an elusive animal that is plaguing hunters from the local village.
However, the search area to find the clues is quite large and there is no indication of where the scouts are in this circle, resulting in many players getting lost.

RuneScape Dragonwilds Fellhollow has added mounts that players can unlock by placing three Nature Spirit Hearts and completing the Wild Hunt quest.
How to get started with difficulty scaling in RS Dragonwilds
To start scaling the difficulty, you must first continue with the Icthlarin's Little Helper quest by completing the first three requirements from the Garou Trader, Blacksmith and Butcher tribesmen. These quests are called “The Mirror Crack'd”, “Rag and Bone Garou” and “Rogue Trader”.
After completing all three of these tasks, two yellow circles will appear on the map. Head to the southern circle to find the village of Manafem. Talk to the Elder to get permission to accept quests from the locals.
Then talk Hedric the hunter you will start the Scaling Difficulties quest.
Scaling problems Tutorial in RS Dragonwilds
After receiving the Scaling Difficulties quest from Hedrik, a green search circle will appear on your map. There are three clues in this circle that you must find to continue the quest.
Hint #1 (Dead Garou Scout)
The body of a dead Garou Scout can be found right in the middle of the quest ring, near the building with the blocked entrance.
Hint #2 (Dead Garou Scout)
The body of the second dead Garou scout is located in the southern part of the search area, south of where you found the first dead scout.
Hint #3 (Burnt Brands)
To the east of the dead body of the first scout is a small burnt building with a burnt wall. Approach the blackened wall and you will be prompted to interact with “Scorch Marks”.
Defeat the Red Dragon
Once you've found and worked on all three clues, the quest will update and a new search circle will appear in the east. Head to this spot and you'll find a Red dragon in the clearing.
This is the “beast” the quest giver was talking about. Use your best weapon to defeat the Red Dragon and you will get “Shining Heart” quest item.
Return to Hedrik in the Manafem Clan village and give him the Radiant Heart to complete the quest. You will receive as a reward 200 Garou Chit and increased her reputation with Beartach.
