Ubisoft continues to announce new features for Assassin's Creed Black Flag re-syncedwith the latest demo changing the way players will be able to explore deep sea areas in the game. Although existence Assassin's Creed Black Flag re-synced may have been one of the worst-kept secrets before its eventual reveal, it seems likely that many may have underestimated just how many new features, fixes, and other quality-of-life improvements Ubisoft Singapore made to the original game.
For most, the biggest change for Assassin's Creed Black Flag re-synced was the switch to the Anvil Engine, which gave the original 2013 version a major visual upgrade. Shutting down the engine actually also opened up new avenues for the team to dive into, including improved combat and stealth. Parkour also inherited all improvements and updates Assassin's Creed Shadowsand some of the rougher edges of the original 2013 experience, namely tailing and the instant failure of stealth missions, have been improved to allow the player more freedom even when an enemy is caught. However, the team is also significantly changing the way players can explore the open world seas.

In a recent interview with GamesRadar, technical director Jussi Markkanen confirmed that the deep diving elements of Assassin's Creed Black Flag re-synced have been expanded to allow players to dive wherever they see fit. Similar to previous games, players will now be able to find treasure and other items everywhere, although the traditional diving bell segments will still be available in Black flag re-synced also.

Although this feature might not be the most exciting change compared to many modern open world games or even the past few games in the franchise. Either way, it's a big departure from the original game, which only featured specific locations of diving bells that would take the player underwater. However, Ubisoft is also giving players a reason to explore, as Markkanen also confirmed that the team has added new wrecks to find, some of which are located near the coast, as well as other little secrets for players to discover as they play.
Even Assassin's Creed Black Flag re-synced is fast approaching its release date, Ubisoft continues to reveal new features of the game. Ubisoft confirmed this earlier this week Assassin's Creed Black Flag re-synced is Steam Deck verified and gives fans another way to experience the game. Additionally, PS5 Pro enhancements have also been confirmed, bringing expanded ray tracing, 2160p resolution with improved PSSR, and “strand-based” hair for Edward in all graphics modes and for mobs when using Fidelity.

New features aren't the only changes fans can expect, as Ubisoft has also confirmed plenty of new content. Assassin's Creed Black Flag re-synced also. This includes updates to the Hideout system on Great Inagua, 3 more recruits for the Jackdaw, as well as expanded missions for Blackbeard and Sted Bonnet. Not only that, it was teased that the game will have a new final chapter that will bring back original writer Darby McDevitt to write it.
