The Guardian Tree holds some secrets about Ravenwood, the new world The Sims 4: Life and Death. Here you can discover the hidden secrets of the lore, help a grieving spirit and collect a tarot card or two.
For those who choose to go down the haunted route, there are also additional benefits to interacting with the guardian tree. So head to Mourningvale and see what the mysterious tree can do for your Sims.
Where is The Guardian Tree?
The guardian tree is in The neighborhood of Mourningvale. Select Eternal Haunt Nightclub for the nearest plot. It is opposite the club Mourningvale Town Hall.
If you walk along the road between two buildings, you will see a large stone circle worn walls before you. There is a large stone path that leads through to the center of the circle. Take it from there first road on the left go slightly uphill towards the water and The guard tree is on your left.
If you click on the Town Hall you can select 'Focus on' and then 'Alice and the Guardian Tree' and the camera will pan to the spot.
You can see the tree thanks web-like turquoise drops which hang from branches instead of leaves. Alice is a a spirit clothed in a veil which can usually be found nearby. It usually appears blue color, due to the sad debuff.
How to complete Alice's Sorrow Quest Chain
I'm talking to Alice unlocks Alice's Sorrow, a short quest to help you unlock the powers of the Guardian Tree.
The search string includes a a series of tasks that link together. If you've found the right item or person to talk to, you'll see a small black tree icon next to the correct action in the menu.
Once a a task is completed, another will be displayed in its place under career menu – accessible via briefcase icon in the lower right menu bar.

Follow along path around the tree and over the bridge. Turn around right where he meets wooden path and proceed accordingly crypt. Choose 'Explore the Underground Crypts' and then 'Enter if you dare' You should quickly come to the Alice's Sorrow popup which will allow you to 'Read the Stone Tablet'. This will tell you the fate of Deimos and you can then exit the crypt by selecting 'Find Another Descendant'. |

Click on each one and check the menu until you are to find Freddy. You will be able to “Chat with Freddy” and “Ask about Alice's Sorrow.” The second option, again marked tree iconwill move the quest forward. |

The the river is right in front of you and the island you need is to the north. You can see tombstone by the tree. from cemeteryhead around the playground Freddy is inside and follows way to the right. Go to wooden bridge then the head right again follow dirt road down to the well. Edith roams this area from the ruins around the well and down to her gravestone, but be careful, she doesn't like visitors. Wait for her the spirit is greenindicating a good mood before approaching her. You will have to try to communicate and for her accept it before you can choose 'Ask about Alice's Sorrow' and complete the task. |

What does The Guardian Tree do?

Once you are completed a quest chain, the guardian tree lets you listen to whispers, replenish supplies, browse, and scavenge. Here's what these options do.

Get a three hours +2 Inspiration buff called Treespiration, by viewing the Guardian Tree.

You can access ka another piece of tradition about Ravenwood and its history during each lunar phase. Different lunar phases unlock the lore as follows:

Replenishment needs
A guard tree can too replenish all of your Sim's needs. Just choose 'Replenishment Needs' and your Sim will briefly disappear inside the tree before coming out refreshed.
Spirits can also refresh their needs at the Guardian Tree.
There yes does not appear to be a limitation to do so after completing the quest chain.
Search
Selection 'search' allowing you to tackle the tree and come out with some goodies. Generally these will be a choice of fruit or vegetablebut rarer items can also be found.
You have to let some time pass before you can clean again.
Use intuition
If your Sim has read the book The Order of Lenore, which can be found at Tarot Tome's Shrine in every district of Ravenwood, then they will too unlock the ability to use intuition at The Guardian Tree.
Using Intuition will give your Sim an option Justice tarot card. This is one of the set 25 tarot cards you can collect by completing tasks for the Order of Lenore.
you will have to strengthen your intuition by completing some of these errands before you can get the reward from the tree again through intuition.
