Now, Hitman introduces an elusive new target in the form of Max Valliant, a former ICA assassin played by Jean-Claude Van Damme. As 47's briefing suggests, Max Valliant used to be one of the group's main assets before 47's time, but he double traded so the ICA had him assassinated by explosion. However, he was merely presumed dead and has now resurfaced two decades later. Valliant took over the ICA facility in Chongqing for unknown reasons. Players will be tasked with escorting a board member representing the ICA with orders that the group wants Valliant gone forever.
When will Hitman's next elusive target come into play?
- Players will be able to try their luck against Van Damme's character from December 12th. The access period will be free for one month, ending on January 12, 2025.
Elusive goals tend to vary in length, with some lasting up to a month and others as little as ten days. The last Elusive Target before The Splitter was The Disruptor, played primarily by MMA fighter Conor McGregor. Shortly after this Elusive Contract ended, the IO announced Hitman has removed all Conor McGregor content from stores in response to a sexual assault court ruling that found him guilty. While McGregor intends to appeal, his branded content is no longer available for sale, although users who have already purchased it can still access it.
While Hitman 3 came out almost 4 years ago, World of Assassination has managed to keep players engaged and interested by regularly releasing new content and challenges like these. 2025 will continue the trend, bring Hitman on PlayStation VR2 on March 27, giving players an exciting way to test their abilities to stealthily – or noisily, if they choose – eliminate their targets.
