Having a Dynmax Pokemon is really beneficial to the player as it helps give them a good boost in battles. Once the Pokemon uses Max, it transforms into a giant version of itself, dealing double the damage it normally does. Max Mushrooms are a new item that is used inside Pokemon Go. This item can only support the Pokémon it was used on and will not provide any support to anyone else around the player. Max Mushrooms gives the player double power during a certain amount of time given for each mushroom. Each of these gives the player a total of 30 minutes, each is also stackable so the player can use two to get an hour of boosts etc.

Max Mushrooms are a bit more difficult to obtain at the time of writing, as they are only available via in-frame purchase Pokemon Go in-game store. Players can purchase 1 Max Mushroom for a total of 400 coins or 3 Max Mushrooms for a total of 1000 coins. These items are slightly more expensive.
