Disney Lorcan has been running for a while now, with its second anniversary coming up in August later this year. During that time, players became extremely familiar with the game's mechanics and started clamoring for a bit of an interesting shake-up to keep things fresh. One of these ideas was Dual-Ink cards, which allowed certain cards to break the bounds of the standard single-ink format.

Fortunately, developer Ravensburger seems to have heard these pleas and agrees that Dual-Ink cards are a pretty good idea. Announced today via Disney Lorcan's Twitter account, it was revealed that the upcoming Archazia's Island – which launches on March 10th later this year – will feature at least one Dual-Ink card.

Belle, Mechanic Extraordinaire is unsurprisingly also part of Sapphire, as you can see in the tweet above, but will also be part of Ruby. Unfortunately, that's the only card Ravensburger has decided to show off right now, though he hints in this tweet that more are on the way, with more information coming on February 10th.

In other Lorcany news, Ravensburger also recently revealed another set after Archazia's Island and Reign of Jafar, which will be called Fabled and will be released sometime in Q3 2025. As the name suggests, it seems to focus more on Disney's fairytale elements and we know from the cover , that Minnie and Mickey will be included. Fingers crossed we see more Dual-Ink cards out there too.
