Since Jura is the strongest of them all, it's no surprise to know that Masashi Kishimoto and Mikio Ikemoto are saving him for last, and that the next in line for the author to focus on is none other than Hidari.V-Jump

As we know, Hidari is the Shinju clone of none other than Sasuke Uchiha. Debuted in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 4 on November 14, 2026 and November 20, 2023 in V-jump Issue #1 In the follow-up Chapter 5 of Two Blue Vortex, which was released on December 20, 2023, Mikio Ikemoto showed us how Sasuke Uchiha was removed by the Code. Biting Claw Grimes eventually led to the birth of Hidari.

IN Boruto: Two Blue Vortexes Chapter #35, released on June 18, 2026, saw the bond between Jura and Hidari grow. The former clearly stated that he would feel immense sadness if he lived in a world without Hidari. This is a clear setup for Hidari's death and growth for Jura through this immense loss. Jura finally understands love, but the price he pays will be Hidari's life. This means that the Thorn Soul Bulb of Hidari will soon be released, setting up a massive return for Sasuke Uchiha after three long years of waiting.

IN Boruto: Two Blue Vortexes Chapter 12, the concept of Thorn Soul Bulbs was introduced to us. The Thorn Soul of a Shinju bulb carries the essence of the mother's body. Once Shinju is defeated, the Thorn Soul can be obtained, and when it is taken to a tree and immersed in it, the mother body can finally be freed. In order for Sasuke Uchiha to return, Hidari must be defeated and the Thorn Soul Bulb must be obtained.

“This is the Thorn Soul Bulb. I was told it would help me free my master who had turned into a tree. Now let me go, Kawaki. Or I will cut off your arm.” — Boruto Uzumaki explains the Thorn Soul Bulb, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter #12

With the new arc now officially set to focus on the bond between Jura and Hidari and the eventual downfall of the latter, it has officially set up the return of Sasuke Uchiha after three long years of waiting, which we are looking forward to at this point. Right after Hidari falls, Boruto Uzumaki and Sarada Uchiha will probably take the Thorn Soul Bulb, head to the tree where Sasuke is, and stick the Thorn Soul Bulb inside. Thus, the Uchiha will finally return after his absence from the series since Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 5, where he only appeared in a brief flashback showing his battle against the Code.

Moving on to arc lengths in Boruto, most arcs are 8 to 10 chapters long. Boruto The Return Arc is the longest and has more than 15 chapters in the story. This means that at most, based on the data we currently have, this arc will span over 15 chapters, which is 15 months worth of content. On average, a Boruto arc lasts about 10 chapters, and all things considered, sasuke uchiha's return window is between 10 and 15 months. As such, Sasuke's return in 2027 is practically confirmed and we can't wait to see the legendary Uchiha return to the story and influence the plot in his own way.

Why Hidari's death ends up making Jura even stronger

With Sasuke's comeback already slated for 2027, we're incredibly excited for the big plot developments in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, and one of them is Jura's massive growth in power after the loss of Hidari. IN Boruto: Two Blue Vortexes Chapter #35, Jura and Hidari team up for the very first time. Hidari fed his curiosity with every bit of information he could find and began to understand people more. On the other hand, Jura was finally beginning to understand the feelings of sadness, loss and love. That's one of the main things he's looking for an answer to, and when Hidari dies, which is only a matter of time, Jura will experience this immense sadness he talked about on June 18, 2026.

Hidari: You could have taken their Thorn Soul Bulb if you wanted to, so why didn't you? Or rather, why did you bring me back?

Jura: Good question. I never thought about it, but right now, trying to imagine a world without you, I was experiencing feelings of sadness.

Jura's immense grief will only lead to grief, and grief will lead to a major power upgrade for him, as has been the theme of the story thus far. Jura could clearly see how Himawari Uzumaki had grown stronger in terms of strength stemming from grief. Similarly, Boruto Uzumaki grew stronger through a desire to protect those around him, and Ohirume Sarada Uchiha's Mangekyo Sharingan powers also stem directly from grief and loss.

Jura is very aware that grief and loss are used as a means to give someone strength, and the same happens to him, setting him up as the ultimate antagonist. Boruto series, which is something we absolutely cannot wait for. Since Sasuke's return had already occurred at that point, the Uchiha would have to lead the next generation of shinobi in the fight against an absolute monster, and in the process fight one of the biggest fights in the entire series.

All new Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapters by Mikio Ikemoto and Masashi Kishimoto are available to read through Manga Plus and Viz Media.
