Kowakujo has 20 Zombie Intel to collect with 6 artifacts, 2 documents and 12 audios. Most of these items are found within the main quest and we'll show you exactly how to get them to spawn and where you can find them so you don't have to repeat the main easter egg twice. This is a complete guide to Kowakuja's main easter egg quest in Black Ops 7 Zombies with the steps you need to reach the final cutscene!

Most of the Intel in Kowakujo requires you to progress through the main Easter Egg, so we recommend that you go through our detailed guide and come back to it during your Easter Egg hunt to know when and where you can get Intel.

After lighting all 11 lanterns with the Nekomancer, head to the War Room and interact with the dead ghost. Behind the ghost is now the audio recording shown above.

Once you've completed the Fox Mask puzzle and worked with the glowing mask in the upstairs storage rooms, you'll find this Audio Log just to the left of the masks.

Once you get the coin purse, head to the Outer Ward where the Rampage Inducer is and watch the ghost scene. The audio recording will drop before the Rampage inductor.

Once you get the Pestle and Pufferfish through the spooky cutscene in the Kitchens, you can look across from the Mystery Box spawn to find the Audio Log in the basket.

Once you rebuild the Sake Cup in the Tea Garden, look to the left of the table where it was rebuilt after the cutscene and you'll find this Audio Log.

After you're on the clock step of the Easter egg, look opposite the clock itself to find a sound recording in the corner.

Play as Takeo and use the Pysche Grenade in the war room to start Takeo's side quest. After appearing on the World Seed, you can find the Audio Log to the right of the Pack-a-Punch.

In the Outer Ward spawn area, look under the bridge.

Head to the Flower Garden and look behind the rock near the lava to the right of the phone exfil to find this Audio Log.

In the training area, enter the building facing east and look in the right corner.

Sound Recording #11 – Extra Crispy

Once the Pack-a-Punch is opened, you can head through the Onsen Baths, where you can then cover yourself over the roof facing the large tree. In the right corner is a pizza to work with for this Audio Log.

When facing the Mule Kick in the Tenshu entrance, head through the door to the left and in the lanterns on the table you will find this Audio Log.

Inside the kitchens, you'll find a barrel just to the right of the Double Tap Root Beer. Interact with the barrels and the document will pop up.

Once you've activated the Pack-a-Punch, turn around and look at the open wall to find a Wall-Buy. Enter the wall and to your right is a shelf that you can melee hit to find this document.

Artifact #1 – Ninja Kite

How to use gliders in Kowakujo

Once you've activated the Pack-a-Punch, head to Tenshu Rooftops to find a Paper Fish Flagpole. Communicate with him for 500 Essence and you can use the Ninja Kite glider. You will receive information when you land.

Artifact #2 – Maneki-Neko

In order to build this tactical equipment, you need to collect three Maneki-Neko parts, and here we have a guide for their placement.

Artifact #4 – Kitsune Mask

How to get the Kitsune (Fox) Mask in Kowakujo

Once you've activated all 11 lanterns with the Nekomancer as part of the Easter Egg and watched the ghost scene, you can head to the roof and activate the Ninja Dragon. Hold the left stick to the right and the spam will be affected so you can grab the Fox mask on the nearby roof while gliding.

Artifact #5 – Lantern Clock

Step #10 Solve the Clock and Flag Puzzle for the Crest Medallion (2)

  • Tip: Go through the main quest.

Once you reveal the fourth painting in the main easter egg, you can find the clock under the stairs where the PhD Flopper is in the storage rooms. Simply interact with the clock to get information.

Artifact #6 – Path of Sorrow

How to get to the Sorrows route in Black Ops 7 Zombies (and is it worth it) (3)

  • Tip: Go through the main quest.

After you solve the murder mystery on the first try, you can fight Onryo by interacting with the orb that appears in the meditation room, which then takes you to the World Seed to “purify”. After the fight, you'll teleport back to the Pack-a-Punch room. Immediately turn around to find the Path of Sorrows sword in the forest.
