One of the most iconic memes of the 2010s, 'This Is Fine' first appeared in KC Green's Gunshow webcomic in 2013. The comic features a hat-wearing dog named Question Hound drinking coffee while uttering the famous line. As the comic continues, everything around the Question Hound goes up in flames. The comic has since been used on social media as a tongue-in-cheek metaphor for things going wrong, and came to prominence in 2014 after the first two images of the now-famous comic surfaced on Reddit. Although Gunshow was discontinued in 2014, the notoriety of 'This Is Fine' allowed Green to pursue other projects.

This Is Fine: Maximum Cope Demo available now until October 22nd

While there are games on Steam that have become memes, a new title based on one of the internet's best memes now has a demo for players to try out. That's OK: Ultimate Mastery is a 2D Metroidvania based on Green's handiwork, with a demo available now on Steam until October 22nd. Although the demo was originally scheduled for Steam Next Fest, That's OK: Ultimate Mastery was hit two days late. Developer Numskull Games said the demo window won't be extended until after the Steam Next Fest ends on October 20, giving players a little extra time with it. That's OK: Ultimate Mastery will allow players to control Question Hound through five worlds based on emotions such as failure, fear and regret.

Throughout That's OK: Ultimate Masteryplayers can collect coffee beans and use them to purchase perks that boost Question Hound's abilities, including one that attracts coffee beans from a distance. Each world features the iconic coffee table and burning home from Green's comics. These tables are game rest points that give players a chance to save their progress and return to previous points. So exploration in this upcoming Metroidvania game will be essential.
