Police release photos of six men after Wakeley stabbing, riot

NSW police are calling on the public to help them identify six men they believe could help them in their inquiries into the wild riots that erupted in western Sydney following the alleged terror attack on Christian bishop Mar Mari Emmanuel.

Police allege a 16-year-old Islamist attacked the bishop at the Christ the Good Shepherd church in Wakeley while he was giving a sermon, with video of the violence quickly circulating across social media.

After the alleged attack, hundreds gathered outside the church and the area collapsed into chaos.

Investigators with Strike Force Dribs, which was established to catch and punish those who allegedly took part in the mayhem, have now released images of six more men they want to speak with, labelled B, C, D, E, H and K.

The men pictured have not been charged with any crime or accused of any wrongdoing, and police are looking to speak to them as part of the investigation.

Person B is described as being of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern appearance, with receding dark brown hair and a beard.

He is shown wearing a black jumper, grey pants, black shoes and carrying a grey shoulder bag.

Person C is described as being of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern appearance, with short black hair and beard.

He is shown wearing a grey V neck shirt, dark jeans and white shoes.

Person D is described as being of medium build.

Person E is described as being of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern appearance, muscular build, tan complexion, with a dark coloured beard.

He is shown wearing a Nike hat, black singlet, grey cargo pants and white shoes.

Person H is shown wearing a T-shirt and carrying a fire extinguisher.

Person K is described as having his hair in braids and having a dark beard.

He is shown wearing a black hooded jumper, tracksuit pants and socks with slides.
