Eric Bana’s daughter is living her best model life

As the daughter of acclaimed Aussie actor Eric Bana and photographer Rebecca Bana, it’s not too surprising the genetically blessed Sophia Bana is living her best model life

The 22-year-old is a dancer pursuing a career in musical theatre and acting, and has signed with Melbourne modelling agency Giant Management.

She previously opened up to The Herald Sun about why she decided to pursue a career in modelling.

“Modelling was something I had never personally considered, but with the mentoring and support of my friends and family, I decided why not give it a go? I am definitely a beginner, but I am excited to see where it can go,” she explained.

The aspiring actor has inherited her dad’s enviable bone structure and gorgeous complexion, and they have a strong family resemblance.

Her social media feeds are relatable with a splash of glam, postings videos of herself dancing and hanging out with friends.

She’ll also post about her travels overseas, like her “wholesome days” in Florence, trips to New York City and videos of herself working out.

Inside Eric Bana's daughter's life

Unlike other celebrity offspring, she doesn’t typically feature her famous dad online. In 2023, she amassed more than 29,000 views on one video for posting a Christmas video that featured her dad.

The clip featured Sophia in a sundress showing off her family’s beautiful Christmas table, her dad, and her lip-synching along to a popular TikTok sound.

People were immediately surprised to spot a celebrity

“Girl, is your dad Eric Bana?” One wrote.

“Excuse me, Eric Bana?” Another wrote

“Bloody hell! It is Eric Bana!” another pointed out.

Sophia is the actor’s youngest daughter and has an older brother, Klaus, 25, who studied film and television at the Victorian College of the Art.

Of course, Eric has had a huge career with roles in Hollywood films like Black Hawk Down, Troy, and The Time Traveller’s Wife. He has found success in local projects like The Dry and played criminal Chopper Reid in the hit 2000 film Chopper.

Despite his success, Eric has always remained based in Melbourne with his family and has never moved to America. He is pretty private, but he has opened up in the past about the joys of parenting.

“It’s the best job, the most rewarding job; it’s the one that takes the most amount of thought and energy, but it’s worth every bit of energy you put into it. It’s the best thing,” he told The Daily Telegraph.
