Brand new TimTam Deluxe flavour hits the shelves

One chocolate biscuit maker has dropped a new flavour as the brand approaches its 60th birthday.

TimTam Deluxe range is even more decadent than its original counterpart, featuring even more chocolate and more in the gooey centre.

Now, the range has a new flavour — TimTam Deluxe Cafe Latte.

The biscuit features the traditional TimTam chocolate we all know and love with added coffee flavours and a caramel centre.

Rebecca Chan, Tim Tam Marketing Manager, said: “Bringing together two delicious flavours in one indulgent bikkie is a combination we are sure Aussies are going to love, and will definitely leave them saying, ‘what more could you wish for’?

:With its extra gooey centre, extra choc, and aromatic caramel coffee notes, Tim Tam Deluxe Café Latte is a mouthwatering addition to our most indulgent range ever – it’s the perfect partner to your 3pm pick-me up or a night in on the couch.”

Fans of the range can pick up the chocolate from all supermarkets and independent retailers from April 30.

Earlier this year, Arnott’s, the brand behind TimTam, revealed an item that started off as an April Fool’s joke would be hit shelves at the end of this month.

Every year brands such as Arnott’s and Macca’s take to social media to announce a new product is coming to shelves on April 1, only to reveal it was a joke.

Arnott’s last year claimed that TimTam Jatz would be landing on shelves, announcing the salty and sweet combination with a woman dancing on the street to Lizzy McAlpine’s ceilings.

Comments immediately began flooding in such as “gimmee, gimmee”, “yesss please make this a flavour” and “you’re joking”.

More than a year later Arnott’s has made dreams come true, confirming the Tim Tam Jatz would be sold exclusively at Coles from late April.

The new biscuit features the iconic chocolate elements of a Tim Tam with notes of a salty Jatz cracker.

“We love getting behind an April Fool’s prank, and dreaming up new ways to tap into Australia’s love of Tim Tam,” Rebecca Chan, Tim Tam’s marketing manager, said at the time.
