Margot Robbie wows as bridesmaid at friend’s Gold Coast wedding

Margot Robbie reported for bridesmaid duties at the Australian wedding of her childhood best friend on the Gold Coast.

The Hollywood star looked as stunning as ever but did not upstage the beautiful bride Brittany Lindores at the beachside ceremony, with Robbie taking her place among the other five bridesmaids in their butter-coloured silk dresses.

Lindores married Maximilian Claxton on Friday in front of their nearest and dearest including Robbie, with the newlyweds then sharing a series of videos from their big day on social media.

Among the clips, Robbie – who grew up on the Gold Coast – could be seen passing the bride a bunch of Calla lilies as they got ready. She was also seen holding the train of her friend’s gown as the wedding party smiled for photos while walking across a pedestrian strip in town.

The bride could also be heard saying “This Barbie is a bridesmaid!” in one clip as Robbie giggled her way down the aisle.

The reception was held at the popular restaurant Rick Shores, in which the actress was seen dancing with her fellow bridesmaids as they made their grand entrance ahead of the newlyweds.

The pair have been friends since childhood with Lindores – an account manager at her family’s recruitment firm – often sharing throwback photos of them on Instagram.

In one tribute in honour of Robbie’s birthday, Lindores posted a picture of the pair at a ballet class with the caption “been together since I can remember”.

Despite all her fame and fortune, family and friends are what Robbie holds dear. She even credits her longtime friends for helping her keep everything in perspective.

“Have good friends,” she once told E! News when asked how she navigates the fame game.

“I’ve got the best friends in the world — yeah, makes all the difference.”
