Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynchronized Promotion launches treasure hunt in the real world

Assassin's Creed Black Flag re-synced has been one of the most anticipated remakes of the past few years, and Ubisoft is diving into the hype with a massive treasure hunt to help promote the game. There were almost constant rumors Assassin's Creed Black Flag re-synced leading up to its unveiling and finally making the long-awaited game a reality this summer.

For many, long-term Assassin's Creed fans, the original Black flag is one of the best entries in the franchise. The treasure hunt was announced on the clerk Assassin's Creed Twitter page and it's called “Gold and Crystal – The Lost Treasure of Edward Kenway”. This event was created in partnership with treasure hunt creator Unsolved Hunts and the prize for the lucky winner is worth a whopping $500,000. Fans who always wanted to feel like Black flagEdward Kenway will now be able to immerse himself in the pirate lifestyle.

Interested players can sign up for the treasure hunt for $39.99. After that, the participants will receive a package that will start the hunt. It contains 15 puzzles to solve. Once solved, players are tasked with finding the location of the treasure, which is hidden somewhere in the Caribbean. However, participants don't actually have to go to the Caribbean. While sailing the Caribbean seas would be fun, hunters simply have to enter the location of the treasure through the online hunting interface. Gold and Crystal – The Lost Treasure of Edward Kenway pre-order offers seven different package options. Each level contains a copy Black flag re-syncedplus other merchandise and content. Prices range between $39.99 and $229.99.

The official winner will of course be the first to successfully guess the location of Edward Kenway's treasure.
