Battlefield 6 offered a glimpse of her upcoming Season 1 offering in a brand new trailer. The new footage shows off the new maps and modes that will be available Battlefield 6's Season 1, which is set to begin on October 28.
Season 1 content Battlefield 6 were first revealed before its release. It will be introduced in three different phases. Rogue Ops is up first, arriving at the very beginning of Season 1 on October 28th. California Resistance will follow on November 18th, and Winter Offensive will wrap things up on December 9th. Now, in a new trailer, players have their first look at everything they can expect from Season 1.
Explosive Battlefield 6 Trailer Reveals Season 1 Maps, Modes, and Weapons
The new trailer for season 1 opens with a preview of footage from Blackwell Fields, the first news Battlefield 6 the map will arrive in Rogue Ops on October 28th. The map appears to be very vehicle heavy, with plenty of open space for players to engage in vehicle combat. Despite not arriving until the release of California Resistance on November 18th, the Eastwood map also appears in the new trailer. It seems to focus a bit more on suburban combat where the fighting is on the streets and in the houses. Despite this, there still seem to be plenty of game vehicles on Eastwood.
The reveal also offers two novelties Battlefield 6 game modes for Season 1, the first of which is Strikepoint. This 4v4 game mode is one life per round, which is a huge change of pace from the typical one Battlefield 6 experience. Strikepoint launches in the first wave of content on October 28th. Then there's Sabotage, the 8v8 game mode that comes with California Resistance, in which players must destroy equipment boxes scattered around the map. Players even have some new weapons at their disposal, including the SOR-300C carbine, the Mini Fix sniper rifle, and the GGH-22 sidearm.
In addition to the new content, Battlefield Studios has been hard at work on smaller tweaks to improve Battlefield 6 experience. Just recently, the developer went crazy Battlefield 6 Farming XP bots with additional changes to the progression path to ensure it is more rewarding for players. Expect these types of small changes to continue, though Battlefield 6 Season 1 begins on October 28.
