Bend Studio assures fans that it will continue to make “great” games
When Bend Studio's cancellation of the live-service game was first announced, it was additionally revealed that PlayStation was working closely with the studio to determine the next project to tackle. Bend Studio spent several years developing its now-cancelled live stream title, and if its next game is of a similar scope, fans will most likely not find out until after the PS5's lifecycle is over. Fortunately, Bend Studio remains confident in its ability to deliver a great experience, and with PlayStation seemingly slowing down its plans for live services, it could very well be that the studio's next game will be single-player.
This led to a revival of requests and others Days gone sequel, and although Bend Studio ended all hope of the prospect last year, it could succumb to demand and give Days gone IP next shot. Interestingly, many rumors in recent months have claimed that a Days gone a remaster is on the way for PS5 and probably PC. Although Days gone sold millions of copies on the PS4, the commercial performance of the remaster may ultimately become the determining factor in whether a Days gone the sequel gets the green light.
