BioShock Fan Builds Impressive LEGO Big Daddy

AND LEGO a fan took to social media to show off the company's impressive Big Daddy build BioShock series they made after another builder's MOC. LEGO BioShock the creator also created a minifigure of Jack, the main protagonist from the first game, to go alongside the Big Daddy figure they created.

In short, MOC build stands for “My Own Creation”, a term for LEGO builds made without a specific plan or blueprint. MOC sets allow LEGO fans to create some sets using pieces from multiple sets and putting them together to create a place or character that may or may not already have a set. For example, a LEGO fan created an endoskeleton bust of a T-800 from Terminator franchise using several components from various LEGO sets. Although officially licensed sets were one of LEGO's main selling points, fan creativity allowed MOC kits to flourish.

A BioShock fan shares an awesome LEGO MOC Big Daddy kit

While BioShock Fans have made their own creative tributes to Big Daddy over the years, with one fan choosing to create a LEGO model of the franchise's iconic nemesis. On LEGO and BioShock subreddits, a Redditor named SgtBlackDeer shared a MOC Bouncer Big Daddy build they made using a mix of brown, gray, gold, and red parts. SgtBlackDeer said they took the Big Daddy design from a content creator named FinCantBuild and tweaked the head to make it a bit rounder in comparison. The Big Daddy bouncer had a drill on his right arm with several gray, brown and gold pieces making up his arms and legs. Big Daddy's cage was made using gold tubing, with smaller parts instead of lights on the helmet. On the back, Big Daddy had two gray oxygen tanks and one of them had a red valve on it.

Big Daddy was a constant presence during the first two BioShock games, often accompanied by a little sister, to whom they depend. Big Daddies are extremely protective of the Little Sisters they share a bond with and will become aggressive if any potential threat approaches them. The most common variant of the Big Daddy is the Bouncer, complete with a drill that can drill through most materials. Although Big Daddies are an iconic character in BioShock series did not appear in 2017 BioShock Infinite.

BioShock 2 Big Daddy Fight

Alongside the Big Daddy figure, SgtBlackDeer created a Jack minifigure to go with it to make it bigger. In response, some fans asked SgtBlackDeer to show more BioShock builds in the future. With May being a busy month for LEGO fans looking to buy a new set for their own builders, it remains to be seen how many fans will be inspired to create their own BioShock– thematic buildings.
