The first of its kind in the franchise, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold WarThe Safe House was a relatively simplistic area of the center that was light on tradition and a different visual design. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6's Rook strives to improve each of these aspects. Set in Bulgaria, Black Ops 6's Rook is an old estate that was used as a secret KGB black site during the Cold War.
As players explore the tower for themselves, they will be able to uncover more details about the KGB's time at the estate and the black site's dark purpose. Along with these interesting stories, players are encouraged to explore the tower through its ecological puzzles. To unlock the mysterious safe on the second floor, players are sent on a scavenger hunt around the entire tower, a journey that presents them with several puzzles including lock-picking minigames, computer hacking, and a UV hunt for piano keys.
Completing these puzzles leads to some really valuable rewards, not just for the campaign, but for the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6multiplayer folder. Exploring the Rook also gives players the opportunity to chat with Frank Woods and the rest of his rogue black ops team, shedding more light on their personal motivations and backstories.

But by far the most important evolution of Rook from its predecessor is its upgrade system. When players first enter Call of Duty: Black Ops 6's Rook, they will receive $1,000 in in-game cash. This money can be used to purchase the three upgrade trees that appear in the new safe house: Training Area, Weapons Workbench, and Gear Station.
With in-game cash, players can upgrade their character, gear, and weapons to improve stats such as health regeneration, weapon recoil, and reload speed.
