How to use snowmen
The most notable features of Bone Chill Event Mode are You can find snowmen and piles of snow skulls scattered around the map. Snowmen are mostly harmless – they may move around occasionally, but they won't hurt you. In fact, snowmen can be very useful.
Both slayers and survivors can jump into snowmen, it gives Killers the Undetectable status effect and gives Survivors a way to hide under the killer's nose. Keep that in mind Slayers can destroy snowmen with their basic attack, potentially damaging any survivor hiding within it.
All this assuming you're not dealing with snowman bait: these insidious creatures look like regular snowmen and will try to scare you scream and explode whenever a survivor or killer approaches them. This will send an alert to all players around the map, so be careful not to approach a snowman you haven't seen before. When you watch over them, Snowman decoys sometimes twitch and reveal their mouths when standing still, lets you play with them.
Snow skulls
But when you see a suspicious snowman, how do you deal with it without revealing your position? This is where the Snow Skulls come in – interacting with a stack of snow skulls will give you seven snow skulls that you can throw at your opponents, teammates and any snowmen you see.
Snowmen who are hit by the Snow Skull will be destroyed, although both regular snowmen and snowman decoys will reappear over time.
If you feel like playing some tricks yourself, you can interact with a pile of snow skulls while you have all seven snow skulls and exchange them for an instant snowman. You can put on or take off the instant snowman with the press of a button, allowing you to play mind games with your opponent and you can choose to leave the snowman behind, intentionally create a snowman decoy.
As a bonus, if you craft a snowman decoy as a Survivor, your teammates can see his aura.
Bloodweb unique items
The Entity decided to give everyone in the Mist some holiday gifts, showing that even multi-dimensional horrors can feel the holiday spirit. Survivors and Slayers alike can find a new offering, Mistle Toes, which will give you extra blood points for the Bone Chill Event. But that's not all: You start the trial with six Snow Skulls and another Chest will appear somewhere on the map.
Speaking of chests, some chests in all trials during Bone Chill will become winter chests. Winter chests will give rarer items than usual, with a chance to include a Winter Party Starter – An exclusive Survivor item that works identically to the Survivor Flashbang. If you can't find any winter chests to loot, don't worry – while Bone Chill lasts, you can also find Winter Party Starters in Bloodweb for all survivors.
