Xbox has removed its $1 Game Pass trial so people can't use it for Black Ops 6
Xbox has quietly made sure that no one will be able to play Black Ops 6 for $1 when it launches on Game Pass next week.
Even if Black Ops 6 will be available on day one for Game Pass Ultimate subscribers – more on that later – some of you may want to own a copy of another CoD game, especially if you don't own an Xbox. There are several editions to choose from and each comes with various pre-orders and bonuses, all of which are detailed below to get you ready for release day.
Call Of Duty Black Ops 6 editions differences and pre-order details
Black Ops 6 has a Standard Edition and a Vault Edition. The Vault edition is naturally a bit more expensive than the base version – $70 for Standard, $100 for Vault – but you can see what you get for that extra $30 below and judge whether it's worth it.

Both editions of Black Ops 6 previously included access to its beta as a pre-order bonus, but if you left it until now to buy the game, you've already missed out.
Pre-ordering any edition of the game will get you the Woods Operator Pack, but there's a catch. The pack is intended for use in Modern Warfare 3, not Black Ops 6. The good news is that the bonus will unlock once you place your pre-order, but it probably won't come with you when you jump into the next game on October 25th. All added bonuses included in the Vault Edition are for Black Ops 6.
Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 is the first game in the series to launch under the Xbox banner. The game has an espionage theme with various prominent political figures appearing during her campaign.
Playing Call Of Duty Black Ops 6 on Game Pass
Even if you plan to play Black Ops 6 through Game Pass, you don't necessarily have to settle for the Standard Edition. Only the base game will be included with Game Passbut if you want the added extras that come with the Vault Edition, there is an option to purchase everything that comes with it separately.
The Vault Edition upgrade costs $30 and can be purchased for Xbox or PC through the Xbox Games Store, and a PC version is also available on Steam. As a reminder, due to changes to Xbox Game Pass over the summer, Black Ops 6 and other releases will only be available to Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers on day one.
